Hello krusty louise. Thanks for asking after me.
Still no progress here at all!!!
I'm enjoying the sun at the moment though and reading a book in the garden.
I've stopped answering my phone now and me and OH are getting very annoyed and the constant check ups from everyone. It just rubs it in more and more I hear people asking about going into labour.
My SIL even moaned to me how fed up she is with waiting and isn't there anything I could do.
I must admit, I snapped back and said "how do you think it feels for us?". She just laughed it off! It sounds mean but I don't care how everyone else is feeling and getting impatient. It's not like I can do anything to help them!
So Im not longer answering my phone and not replying to the many messages asking me how it's going anymore!
Just relaxing I the sun and ignoring the world!!!
On Facebook, princess kate still hadn't gone into labour late last night. They were thinking of maybe breaking her waters today though. So hopefully some good news from her very soon.0 -
I saw physio yesterday I got a call on tues and they said they had triaged my referral and offered me an appt the next day, which is weird because I had already had my letter and booked myself in for an appt. Anyway it's not spd but my sacro ilieo joint, lower back basically he has suggested some strengthening exercises and a specific support belt.
Auntie pickle how are things going with your birth requests ie no ve? Have you spoken with your local supervisor of midwfies they may be able to offer support. I spoke with mine today re home water birth and she was very supportive.

Hi Milly,
Really pleased you're good and enjoying the sunshine, its lovely isn't it? I've been sat in the garden with DD today, we painted nails, coloured in books, played with the cats, just general fun.
You do right ignoring calls and texts and comments about how fed up everyone else is!

Hi everyone - loving the warmer weather
Hope things progress for you soon milly, & I'd be doing exactly the same thing with my phone! How dare you inconvenience other people by not having given birth already!!
I'm in for a bit of a worrying weekend - had my 25 week midwife appt. yesterday and my fundal height measured 30cm!
They've booked me in for a growth scan on Monday, but obviously loads of scenerios such as GD and hydramnios going through my mind. I actually think it's going to be a combination of the way baby was lying and maybe my frame, as when we got home me and OH measured and it was just over 26cm. It's still very worrying though. Plus points are baby is active and the HB was fine at 136bpm, so I'm just going to have to try and chill.
Has anyone else had a large measurement?DS - 08/15

Hi Claire - I have just got back from the hospital for a follow-up scan for polyhydramnios. Everything had gone back to normal which was good. My GTT test was also normal. (At 36 weeks I measured 40cm - now 39+2 and measuring normal again)
So I guess at times these things can happen and, while it's good to get things checked out, it can sometimes mean nothing at all and things can resolve on their own.
Of course, it doesn't always help the anxiety levels in the meantime - keep away from Google!!!! And if it is something then at least you are being checked out and they can advise on any appropriate course of action. The fact that baby seems fine is GOOD so try and hold on to that.

Thank you so much Aunty-Pickle, it's really reassuring to see someone at the end of their pregnancy where things have gone back to normal.
My community MW is absolutely lovely and was totally calm about it - she too told me under no circumstances am I to refer to Dr. Google! Baby is kicking as we speakMy OH has rightly pointed out that we'd have been very lucky to go through an entire pregnancy without something not matching up or needing checking, so hopefully this is just our little 'blip'. Thanks again for the reassurance, it's really helped xx

Claire, the same thing happened to me. It was a combination of polyhydranimos and largish baby. My GTT came back negative. But my fluid levels went back down, then up and now are back down again. I do have a largish baby though but it is healthy and happy which is all that really matters.
Don't worry too much, it's unlikely it means anything bad. And if your like me, you get a lot of extra scans which was great. I've had a total of 7 and the reassurance you get when they say baby is looking really good each time is amazing.0 -

Try not to worry Claire, I know it's easier said than done, but those measuring tape measurements are often wrong. My bump has measured from 3-6cm "small" every time, have been for two growth scans and all is fine. Midwives said it's the only way they have really of referring babies who *might* have growth problems, but many women get referred whose babies are perfectly fine. I do hope that's the case for you

Claire_A87 - me too, high fluid, then normal and another scan next Thursday where I am pretty sure it is going to be high again as I seem to have put on 6lbs in about 4 days after not gaining any weight at all for 2 months - I don't think I ate that many Easter eggs ! I've been measuring at 39/40 weeks since about 32 weeks but I think I'm just a funny shape.
I wouldn't worry too much but I know that is easier said than done. jane0
