Congratulations Carrot. Hope that the feeding problems get sorted.
I'm currently exhausted. I did a full day at work on top of my usual week and I want to just curl up in bed. Another day at work tomorrow then working until Friday when I finally get a day off. Resisting decision to work until 37 weeks now.0 -
Thanks for the comments about the pregnancy sickness not counting, I hope that is the case. Might check our sickness policy at work to check where I stand.
Pregnancy is hard work, thank god this is my last lol
My granny had 13, I honestly haven't got a clue how you would get through that many pregnancies.:jMarried 16/07/2010, ds1 born 11/08/12, baby due 08/05/20150 -
Jedi, have a look at this link. It explains that pregnancy-related sick leave should be recorded separately from "normal" sick leave

Thanks auntie pickle, very helpful.
Have blown up the exercise ball today as going to attend a mummy natal class and you have to take your ball along with you. Have signed up to 6 sessions on a Thursday evening, it will be hard work as I am normally knackered on my office work days but I think it will be worth it.
Saw some gorgeous mint and white baby vests in boots but resisted the urge to buy as I already have clothes from first baby and I am sure I will get brought other clothes as well.
Volunteering at nct sale next week, can't wait cos volunteers get to shop before anyone else, you get some great bargains. One of the first things on my list is a buggy board.:jMarried 16/07/2010, ds1 born 11/08/12, baby due 08/05/20150 -
Congratulations Carrot! Glad things are mostly going well.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Took my DD to a party today and the other parents were commenting on bump , nice that people can tell I am pregnant.
In other good news I got a promotion at work last week, i was worried i would be overlooked because of the pregnancy (even though i know they can't do that) so good to be going off to maternity leave in a better position.0 -
congratulations wendz that's fabulous news! well done - you obviously deserve it!Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0

Morning all,
Hope you had good weekends.
Congrats Carrot. Great news.
Congrats wendz. I just had a review with a little pay rise and its nice to know my 90% maternity payment period will be a little better.
I helped at an nct sale on Saturday. Got in the sales early and got some great bargains. 3 travel cots at £10 each. One for each grandparent and one for my brother. Will do as play pen even if they dont stop over
As for me. Doing fine. Gtt high after breakfast so on one metformin in the morning. Started Saturday so hopefully see results soon. It was my birthday yesterday and I had a girls high tea with loads of cake and by glucose levels were fine after that! So it is just the morning.
Got hospital monitoring day Wednesday. Scans etc. Looking forward to seeing results.
Have a good week. Xxx0 -
Huge congrats Carrot! Gorgeous names, hope you're all settling in ok
Hope issues at work are sorted out Jedi, they defo cannot include pregnancy sickness in your absence records. Only thing I think they are able to do is start your maternity leave earlier if you have preggo related sickness in the last few weeks - altho I can't remember which week this is enforceable at.
Well done on the promotion and pay rise Wendz and Alsomething
Ashtray Heart, hope toy had a nice rekaxing weekend and feeling a bit better
Hope your midwife appointment goes ok today Aunty P and you get somewhere regarding the way you were treated last week
Good shout on helping out at NCT sales! Never even occurred to be to do that and get first pickings!!
Arrgghhhh :eek:how am I second on the list?!?! still don't feel anywhere near ready to be a mummy of 2!! Altho on the other hand am looking forward to not being so uncomfortable for too much longer. Another scan this week so will see what baby's doing on Thursday!
Thank you again for doing the lists Aunty P.
Hope everyone has a good week0
