  • Thanks ladies. Was a bit of a worry but may have been a goid thing to make ne realise I need to slow down, not quite to a stop & probably not as much as my husband might like but a bit at least!

I sorted a bit more stuff in the nursery today & scrubbed & bleached the shower & put up the new shower caddy. Few jobs ticked off the never ending list! We've got our couples Daisy birthing class tomorrow, I'm looking forward to it although I'm sure OH is going to make me laugh! I've really enjoyed the classes & would recommend them to anyone, very relaxing & confidence building.

I've got my baby shower on Sunday at my sisters house. I've said I don't want any silly games or presents. Just an excuse for my friends to get together & eat cake really! Not sure what I'm wearing yet, bought a dress from new look but haven't tried it on, I'm getting much less organised as time goes on!

Next weeks jobs are hospital bag & curtains for the nursery....still!

Hope everyone has s lovely weekend! xx

  • Hello everyone!

I'm pleased to announce the arrival of Isabella Louise on 20/02/15 weighing 7lb 13!

After keeping us waiting (9 days overdue) and a fairly long and difficult labour she shot out causing me a few problems but she is a beauty and has taken to breastfeeding with no problems. We are so happy!

Will get added to the Facebook page so I can post some photos.

Huge congrats Nicky!! Sorry to hear you had a difficult start, hope you're home now and enjoying your new arrival

Have a fab day shopping Alsomething! Baby shoppings the best isn't it?!

I'll only be taking tiny baby clothes into hospital, I'm pretty sure he's gonna be little, which is just us I like them! (Altho not too little!) I'm 36 weeks now so further along that we were expecting to get and I really need to finish packing my bag .

I'm off to 2 baby showers this weekend, one today and one tomorrow, neither of which are mine! :rotfl: I'm not really sure how I feel on baby showers, I don't mind going to them but hate the idea of having one for me if that makes sense?!

Have a lovely weekend ladies whatever you're doing

  • Congratulations Nicky!

Yikes, that now makes me 6th on the list!

I know what you mean about baby showers, I'm not overly keen. My sister really wanted to do it tho so it keeps her happy, I said theres to be no silly games, no persons, no one is expected to bring anything, it's literally a few friends together, lots of nice sandwiches, cake and scones with clotted cream and jam, washed down with pots of tea! I'm looking forward to the cake bit!

We had our couples class of daisy birthing today, Dan seemed to enjoy it & said it was really informative & he learnt a lot. ! lady from my weekly class was due to be there but was late, the teacher text her to check everything was ok & she'd had her baby yesterday at 36 weeks! Eek! I really need to pack that bag!
