alsomething - not sure how to get round that! But I have updated the list anyway!

I've left Freshstart and Timeflies on the birth list because otherwise it's all boys!!! Wondering if Nicky Noo Na is going to continue or break the trend!!!!

Has anyone heard anything about Pington?

[ETA - just realised we haven't heard on here from Nicky since 19th - hopefully that means things are happening?! Does anyone know?]

    Congratulation Mrs TM.

Are you taking arnica tablets? I've seen there is a cream too but I don't know if that would be any good for stitches!

I am taking the tablets. The 30c ones. Bit annoying the first day, remembering to take them every 2 hours, but they really do work! After that first day, you just take them as needed. I'm still doing a dose with each meal for the moment. Holland & Barrett have them 125 tablets for £6.75, plus they are having a buy one, get one half price sale at the moment. Cheapest I could find! :)

I've just come back from the mw's. I had a mw and a student mw.

I discussed my issues with my previous labour. They said they can organise to get my labour notes sent down and I can have an appointment with a mw to discuss in depth what happened. I think this will be very beneficial for me as I was out of it for most of it due to labouring for 3 days and then the last 6 hours on diamoprhine.

I also discussed PND. They listened to me, and were very understanding. They suggested I contact the counsellor just in case I do feel down after the birth.

I do feel better having spoken about it, but it actually brought on a panic attack and I'm feeling a little bit vulnerable.

oh big hugs to you krustylouise.
At least it sounds like they were understanding and sympathetic and supportive of you. It must have been tough but I'm glad you were able to have that conversation. Hopefully it's started things moving in terms of getting some extra support put in place.

Thanks AP - I appreciate you taking the time to reply. It was made more difficult as today is the anniversary of my Mum's death.

Anyway...enough of me bringing the board down!

Alsosomething - I am practicing Hypnobirthing, I have the MP3 downloads and book :)

Can I pick your brains ladies? Apologies in advance if it's tmi...

Was stood peeling spuds (ah, the high life!) this afternoon, and all of a sudden felt a bit, damp? I've put a pad on, and still feel like that, but there's nothing more to show for it, iyswim?

I wasn't doing anything exerting, so doubt I've had another 'tena lady' moment. :o

My bump feels kind of 'raw' and bubbly, and a bit twingy now and again, but I don't know if I'm making too much of it?

Could it be action stations, or am I reading too much into it, because I'm so excited? Hesitant to troll all the way to maternity in taxis, as I'm only 36+3 (although at MW yesterday, she is apparently over halfway engaged?)

    Thankies xx
