Good luck Laura, I have a freezer full of frozen food after batch cooking. I've washed and ironed most of the clothes up to 3months. I have appointments at the hospital today and tomorrow. Hoping to get outstanding work finished on Wednesday.

    Congratulations Kirstypoos!

We're 24 + 1 today so moving up to this thread.

Hope you're all well. OH has a midwife appointment tomorrow. All fine so far, except she's starting to get a bit achey now below her bump when walking. Ordered some bump bands hoping they might offer a bit of extra support.

We've got growth scan already booked in for 28, 31 and 34 weeks. Haven't had chance to ask about them yet as we received them before even having the 20 week scan - haven't had a midwife appt. since.

Assuming it's probably because DS1 was born on the small side 6lb 2 and/or OH's BMI at her booking appointment was lower than before, I think it was still within the good range, just at the very bottom of it.

We bought a Chicco next2me yesterday at ToysRUs as they had it cheaper than anywhere else due to closing down. We used my old crib for DS1 which my father made for me - but OH found it a bit too low down and therefore a struggle to get baby in and out early on. She'd have also liked to be able to see him more easily and liked the bedside crib that they had at the hospital.

Just trying to find some sheets from somewhere that fit it - without being overpriced!

Have we got a list for me to add myself to?

    Congratulations Kirtsy :D:D:D :j

I am in a grump, my PGP and SPD now warrant crutches for the rest of my pregnancy, and of course, it's painful and restrictive. Sports were my life before pregnancy and now I don't even want to leave the house. Just looking forward to getting little one out now :(

27 weeks, 28 on Friday. So a long way to go yet! There has been a birth at 28 weeks in both my family and hubby's family - everyone else goes overdue. I really hope I don't go over (but I don't want to go into labour next week obviously!!!)

Welcome Freddie! We bought the next2me dreams this time, I had the Shnuggle last time so I'll pop that in the living room. I like the idea of seeing baby beside me too, hopefully it'll save the lifting too.

Growth scan today is back on track so I have a couple more CTGs booked before c-section, let's hope baby will hold tight in there!

How are you getting on Kirsty? Hope your both doing well!

Ouch Lavender, have you seen a physio? I've not had an appointment through from NHS but my work gave me physio and I went from hardly being able to walk to feeling just the usual pregnancy niggles. Might be worth a private appointment?

Hi Sweeti - yes I've gone NHS and private (the private one is better, lots more time and exercises given for my specific set of issues). One of the things I struggle with is if I have a better day pain wise, I try and take advantage and get stuff done, no marathons(!) but I try and walk more normally and more than 50 yards at a time. But then I feel it for a week. I'm definitely not used to rationing my physical activity.

Glad your managing to see a physio Lavender. Sounds so painful. It'll definitely be worth it in the end! Around 12 weeks seems like forever but it won't be too long.

I've got such an internal conflict between being productive with my time off so I don't have as much to do after birth and just going back to bed to sleep. All my CTG and hospital appointment's are keeping me busy though!

At least you are getting some help with physio. It must be awful to be so active one minute then not the next. I was reasonably active before and am finding it very frustrating not being able to get about like i could. Ive just waddled to the post box and back and was in pain. I also think those who are in active training are more aware of what is happening with their bodies so someone like you who is very knowledgeable will be more conscious of whats going on and where..

Meanwhile i've been suffering with the runs on top of usual aches and pains (soz for the TMI) but am still recovering from the longest cold in the world so i'm hoping that I get a few more days before I go into labour to make sure my health is just right.
