  • Good morning everyone!
Congratulations on the babies that have arrived, very exciting.

I gave birth to a baby girl on 30.11.17 and am very much in love with her...even if I've been up since 4:30am! ;)

Had a stretch and sweep on 27.11.17 and was already 2cm dilated, waters went on the Wednesday or possibly the Tuesday...had a 16 hour labour then a forceps delivery and had to stay in for a few days due to me having low iron levels. Midwives were fantastic, absolutely brilliant.

Settling into these early days as first time parents and learning to function on very little sleep.

Good luck to everyone that is expecting, it is amazing and the love you feel for your baby is overwhelming. :)
Married in 2016. Bought our first home in 2017. Expecting our first baby in November 2017
    :):):)
Frugal & thrifty as much as possible.
    ;)

Congratulations Dramarama! ! Wow that's impressive your sweep worked! I had so many with my first and she just wouldn't budge lol. Enjoy every moment, so so precious
  • Hi everyone, and congratulations to the recent births! I'm 25 weeks pregnant. Got a while to go, but the anticipation is building slowly but surely. I still have moments of bump awe, I can't imagine how it must feel to hold your baby in your arms and know "we made you!"

Hi all, just updating as haven't been on since baby-j was born 5 weeks ago.

We were induced in the end as went 2 weeks overdue. Induction wasn't as bad as I'd feared, but I only needed one pessary not drip. Ended up with emcs, but I suspect that may have been needed even if I hadn't been induced.

Recovery from the c section has been slow but I'm getting there.

I can't believe how quickly the time is going now she's here...though the nights seem to go on forever sometimes!

Congratulations to all the other new mummys (and daddys) and to all those just joining this thread.
There is a list, a few pages back now I think, but I'm typing one handed on my phone so can't easily update, but feel free to update with your info.

    All the best everyone.
