    Debt-free and Proud!
Thanks Dusty for this week's thread and Natty for last.:A

    I'm in again this week and thanks to last week's super charged activity, my list today looks like this;

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Hoover and Mop the floors
    Clear and wipe the worktops

Which is not a bad thing as I have washing mountain courtesy of DD who is back safe and sound, bearing gifts not just washing and extremely tired.

I'm loving the door loss Pigpen, a friend of mine always used that one on his teenagers too and I have always threatened it but so far have not had to resort to it. Hope it works.

    Have a happy Monday everyone.

    Thanks for the lists Dusty.

I'm sort of in, but off list. I'm going to try and clear the ironing pile, do all the usual dailies, change my bed, have a bath and sort out a couple of lists for grocery shopping tonight. DD is going to help me carry it home from Mr A & Mr Al to save the cost of delivery or multiple trips which would probably result in overspending ;) I also have work, and need to post our DVD rental. Finally we've managed to watch all 8 seasons of Charmed, its only taken us a year nearly! :rotfl:

Anyways, I best get on as I need to update accounts before I can look at what I have to spend on the groceries. :o

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Narc0lepsy do you have your own horse? I used to and still love to ride (money and bad back permitting) - now DD is riding and goes once a fortnight; love to see her progress. Hope you don't get affected with all the flooding.

I don't now; I had a lovely Hanovarian who was 'rescued' from a sh***y owner who beat him up. I had him for 16years but he went off to play with unicorns (which is what I told him as we lay in the sun together waiting for the vet) 2 years ago at the age of 31. Sorry tmi and it's got me in tears!! I was incredibly lucky to have him so they are happy tears in a way. My OH has an anglo-arab who I sometimes ride, but somehow I'm still at the stage where all my emotional energy was invested in my own boy, so I just don't seem to have the interest any more. The farm where he lives is pretty wet at the moment. Luckily he has a large barn so he can go inside or out in the field as the mood takes him. There's a stream running through the barn at the moment!!

Bit concerned how far east all this weather is creeping. Don't mean that to sound selfish; feel desperately sorry for anyone anywhere with seemingly no end in sight. And was it my imagination or did the weather man mention the dreaded :snow_grin this morning?

    LR dusted
    Muddy gloves washed
Football boots and boot bag washed
    WM1 on the maiden
    WM2 in progress
    Bins emptied
    Birds feed
Compost caddy emptied and washed out
DW just finished so DS2 can empty that and then deliver my leaflets for me
Fridge sorted and shopping list started

Not bad. Really missing Royal Paws today and managing to make myself very tearful, combined with PMT it is going to be a tricky day. Agh Hugs Narco I see you are having a similar day. Kids keep mentioning kittens but I am so not ready for that.

Hugs to you too. Must be national pet day.

Got off to a good start today, kitchen now blitzed. Don't be too impressed, it wasn't too bad but it was an hour well spent. Just stopped for a coffee now then it's:
    - must ring and argue with insurance company
    - book dentist check up
    - check lounge ok for potential client visiting at 1pm
    - change into respectable clothes for client as multi coloured fleecy trousers and jumper with food/kitchen cleaner down the front isn't likely to impress!
    - may ring supplier of broken trays delivered last week. They have just emailed responding to my complaint that the trays were due for delivery last Thursday instead of the MOnday I'd requested, so sounds as if they are 1 email behind as I sent them one to let them know they arrived damaged. However on the positive front, they seem to have taken on board the Monday delivery as I've just had a call to say the cabinet (that the trays go in) will be delivered today.

Oh Narc0lepsy; I'm sorry if I upset you (((hugs))). I get like that at the thought of my old horse who was my best friend but had to be put to sleep - the second one (Anglo Arab) was too much for me and dumped me on the road so no fond feelings there ....

(((Hugs))) to you too Dusty; you'll know when the time is right for a kitten and you'll just have to try to explain to the children just not now.

I've eaten some frogs, done my typing (1 of the jobs anyhow), sorted the washing, made the beds and now having my lunch. Then plan is to do the kitchen and take Pip out for a walk and try to do some Pilates to stretch my back. Then a bit more paid stuff ..... whilst watching Breaking Bad S5 which I pestered DH to watch with me but promptly fell asleep half way through so no idea what's going on

(((HUGS))) to all those missing pets who have made their Journey already. Move up on the bench; I still miss my beloved Penny-Dog, after 12 years. And I confess to getting tearful if one of my regular guests departs this life - thinking of Dylan, Sidny, Candy, Cameron, Pip, Mary; all friends who have made their Journey.

Narco and Mumof2 I never had my own horse, but used to ride regularly; I haven't been able to for many years now, and I do miss it.:o

Dusty don't let the kids hurry you into getting a kitten; you'll know when it's the right time.

I feel that you never replace a pet, but you can fill the dog/cat/other animal-shaped hole in your life, but it has to be at a time you're comfortable with it.

Anyways - I shall flippitty-flap as best I can this week; I'm still feeling a bit fragile, (or rather more fragile than usual) so I must try not to go at it like a bull at a gate.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
