Good grief no - shower AND bath must be provided.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Why would you need a bath when there's a massive Jacuzzi hot tub on the balcony? :p that would just be over the top and not very MSE.;)

Just a quick update. So, I have heard nothing from the PR* since I sent them an updated i and e and revised p and f offer. Nothing. Not a dicky bird. Not even an acknowledgement of the letter I sent, which I find very rude. I've decided to keep my head down and pay the small amounts for the time being and see if they eventually get in touch with me. I'll give it another three months, then I'll try again with the other remaining three.

  • Nothing much to report on the finance front. Everything is ticking over. The accounts I paid p and f on are now closed and showing as closed and settled on Noddle. I'm carrying on for the time being paying small monthly amounts on the four that are left.
On a personal level, I've succumbed to bailing out DS and DD again. I know I can't afford to do it and know their vows to pay back won't come to anything, but couldn't stop myself. Now I've left myself short...again. Cross with myself, but couldn't stand back and let them sink without helping. So the emergency fund has gone...

We never stop worrying about our children do we?

What are you bailing them out for - Food? Bills? Travel to work? Is it the same thing you are bailing put each time?

Was it a genuine emergency that could not be helped or should they have budgeted better?

I don't have the answer but I'm sure you can build the emergency fund quickly and feel my in control again.
  • They should have budgeted better, Eager. Anyway, it's done now and I'll just get back on saving up again and be really pleased if I get some of the money back.

Had a call from T@s0 re i and e. I'm kicking myself because I agreed to keep the payments the same, but could have reduced them to £1! I don't know why I didn't. Anyway, gave them another p and f offer, but was rejected. I think I will leave it a few weeks, then phone up with another i and e and reduce the payments. So annoyed with myself…should have done it this time.
Bonus from DS - he paid back some of the money I lent. Hurrah! And I did a good car boot at the weekend. And the sun's out. Have a good day all.
