Im not sure how this will solve your short term cashflow problem ?
Surely for them to be able to pay your bills they will need money 'upfront' ?
are they taking control of all your money? , what are they going to allow you for food and day to day living expenses , and how will you get the money ?, and what about debt payments ? mainly those that you feel oblidged to pay , ie your mum and friends
I noticed from your other thread that you have run up a large debt with your energy supplier , habe you a plan for repaying that ? ( I'm afraid I dont know what will happen if you dont pay ) btw you made an allowance for monthly amounts but yet have clearly not paid it
This 'charity' isnt the answer to your short term cashflow problem they cannot pay any bills if you havent the money to give them
If I was in your position i would be living on the bare minimum and paying the most I could towards the priority debt
ie rent and heat and light . Any debt that isnt going to impact on your life immediatley can be ignored until you are in a better position , but its going to have to be dealt with one way or another .
Again I dont know how HMRC deal with overpayments .
The key bill that is the problem is the rent 2 months behind and not enough immediate cash flow.
If the negotiations with the landlord can spread this out and the rest of the income is secured for only essential stuff then there might be a balanced budget in a few months just paying the essentials and no rent arreers.
How much will be left to deal with the bigger picture and tackle some of the critical arreers is another day.0 -
Who on this thread do you know well enough to dare call them a judgmental idiot?
I have got you on my ignore list now.
Haha!!! Seriously? I have been called an ALCOHOLIC on this forum and you're asking me how I can be judgmental??
Also, the guy above clearly said he knew me well enough to judge me on SIX facts. I was merely judging him right back.
And, I'm just so sorry to have lost your advice, wisdom and friendship...oh no...sorry, I don't give a monkeys.0 -

There are a lot of posters on MSE who have dealt with this theirselves , and lots who are still dealing with it , some of them for years , yet somehow you know better / are better
Fab! Where are they? Very few of them see to be on my threads!!
Also, as much as "lots of posters" have been in the situation. They aren't in my situation and don't have the same crap going on as me. So yes, I do know better than them about what's going on in my life. Just because I have chosen not to share every, single, intimate detail of my life on here, it doesn't mean that I can't receive help for the problem in hand...?

Think thats what i said more or less lol
scary as it might be ( and I can well imagine how scary it is ) If the landlord is agreeable it can be sorted
I also understand when you are in a dark place its easy to think sod it all and go out for a takeaway , anything that will lift your mood for that shortwhile . Unfortunately it has a habit of coming back and biting you in the bumVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -

I think that it's a bit rich, given what you've done, for you to call others idiots.0
