No, but as Sky employ DCA's who will not think twice before wrecking the contract holder's credit file, and that will have more serious consequences later.

Except they do not, Sky is not a Consumer Credit agreement and Sky do not and can not effect your credit history it is not credit.

Nobody who has Sky has it registered on their file.

If it came to an unpaid CCJ? Maybe but that's a bloody long ways down the line.

Since the OP clearly wants to return to Sky in a few months, all this talk of simply "disappearing" without paying the current bill is rather moot.
I doubt Sky would activate another account for her at another address if she still remained in debt to them from her old one.

No its a service agreement just like a mobile phone
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Hence my very clear and concise question.

    "How will they find you?"

Maybe the same as Pay as You Go but Pay monthly involves Credit and I think they some do report monthly statuses to credit files.

They'll "find" her whenever she attempts to re-subscribe, surely?

Yes, obviously if her name is Sarah Smith and doesn't carry on with the contract they will ban every Sarah Smith in the UK from ever getting Sky.

Why are we discussing this? its a simple question for her to ponder.

Same bank account etc? I can't see it being that easy to walk away from an unpaid debt.

Maybe don't use the same bank account?

Seems to be a lot of 'ducking and diving" you're recommending..

Personally, I'm far too honest for all that...
