another lame UJM reply about the jobs that take you here
    http://www.searchjobvacancies.co.uk/office-admin.html

Thank you for contacting Universal Jobmatch.

Employers can choose different methods to receive applications to their jobs. If they select the option to receive CVs via our site and you apply in this way, those jobs will have an 'Apply' button on them.

Some employers can direct you to a different website. These jobs will have an Apply button too. Others will ask you to apply offline - by telephoning or writing, for example. This contact information will be in the job description or on the left-hand side in the Job Summary. If you apply by these methods these jobs will not show in your Application History. But you can go to Activity History and type in some information in to the Job Search Notes field and keep a record of your applications there.

The Submit button that you see on some jobs, is used if you want to mark a job with a reason on why you have decided not to apply for it.

Throughout Universal Jobmatch you will notice an orange question mark icon. Click on it to access our Help page for tips and ideas on using the site.

We hope we have answered your question, but if there is anything further please contact us again.

    Kind regards
    Universal Jobmatch

I have replied saying that was not what I was asking and I have asked 5 times now for the UJM to provide me with the name of the company advertising, their phone number, address etc

If they cant provide these then that's 100% proof they have no clue what or whom are advertising on the site and have NO procedure at all to stop these adverts

They seem to think they are for REAL jobs!

I'm sure you found that very helpful, NOT !

People in DWP know what's going on.

They just don't care, they're doing what they are told, until the scandal blows up in their faces.

What's disappointing is that no JC staff on these boards have commented on this.
  • I am currently out of work and look on the universal jobmatch website daily and apply for anything i can apply for which isnt much. If you type in my local area you just get pages after pages of door to door canvassing jobs and sales jobs all of which are self employed vacancies. Most of the sales jobs dont offer training then if they do offer training and you get to an interview you get rejected because you are not as experienced as they would like...then why offer training? The government say they are helping people back into work but from my experience they just told me to do what i was already doing anyway. Someone needs to set up some kind of open day where the unemployed can display their skills and qualifications and get approached by employers. I would like to think i am a skilled artist with experience in graphic design logo design and digital artwork, i am also a skilled nail technician and am willing to learn new skills for a role but i am being wasted at home if i could just get noticed by an employer i know i could make someone a lot of money and bring fresh new ideas but i just need to be put in contact with this person...this should be the role of the employment advisor's at job centre.

Unfortunately they haven't gone away. Keep your eye on Uk-localrecruitment.com and X-jobs.com which are both run by these shysters. These sites are currently listing fake jobs on UJM although not to the extent of Searchjobvacancies.co.uk. I won't link directly to their crummy websites but I've put warnings on Web of Trust:

    https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/uk-localrecruitment.com
    https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/x-jobs.com

  • I wrote to my MP about this as I was working for a training centre, so ujm was a usuall day to day occurance. I have been now made redundant along with 400 other people, (thats a different forum post for another day). but I my self found that one company in particular MF training and recruitment solutions, advertised the same job three times but under three different areas, this I thought was impossible, so I googled mf solutions and found their web site which was very minimal, and email to contact and a phone number, the phone number was an answering machine which i left several messages each one sounding more annoyed as they went on, then i emailed a dozen times to , NOTHING SILCH ZERO reply s, I was concerened then as I new I would be going down the UJM searching route myself soon, and know that if you don't apply for a certain amount of jobs a week they can stop your money, Well i'm sorry but i don't see how that, if i'm paying someone £1 every time I upload my CV just so i can be eligible for jsa this is not a healthy financial way to run a country, basically they are paying us to keep the scammer's in business, as if i refuse to send my cv to these scammer's the government wont pay me jsa (dont worry I intend not to sign on unless, my redundancy period runs out before i find a REAL job. I have wrote to my MP about this and yes I got a reply that he was forwarding it to the employment minister, I sit and wait. I myself went onto a work programme which yes did lead me into employment, but i did point out to my tutor back in 2010 that a lot of jobs were scams or fake, no one listened to me and though i was making excuses, I then went home and printed off 75 fake jobs which i boorinly searched for to proove my point, I tool them into him the next day and dumped them on his desk and said, thats why i refuse to job search, Which he then replied, "well your loose your dole money"!!!. ???????? Its wrong all of it. My next stop is Channel 4..... watch this space :j
  • Did you type that on a phone or something?

    Agree regarding your points though.
