Congrats Tink! I'm really pleased all went well :T and likewise echo others about looking after yourself. Glad there's a blue, we were on a long run of pink there!
Good luck freebiequennie, let us know how you get on.
I read somewhere that around my time (just over 21) that the baby may get a taste for whatever you're eating. I have been craving, and eating, a lot of vegemite on toast lately (mmmmmmmmmmmm) so wonder if they'll get a taste for that! Most people I know who have tried it (but didn't grow up on it) hate it so this'll be my little experiment!0 -
Wow I've missed a lot on here the past few days! Hope all are well......
Congrats Tink, how special that your having a boy!
Good luck to those having their scans today, I hate that feeling of fear and excitement about seeing your baby. I have my 20 week scan on Thursday and I am dreading it, even though I had a private anomaly scan at 16 weeks! I am worrying a lot more with this twin pregnancy though, than I did with my singletons.
I am envious of those of you complaining that your bump isn't showing yet, mine is HUGE already, I look at least 6 months. Maybe I'll post a picture later for your viewing pleasure
View- I don't know if this is the kind of thing you are looking for, but I bought this cheapy pillow from argos

and I am sleeping so much better now. It goes between my legs all the way down, I rest my bump on it, one arm under and one over and I'm finding it much easier to sleep on my side, and my hip pain has reduced.
Right, back to defrosting the freezer for me! I look forward to the scan updatesWorking my butt off to buy the house of my dreams!0 -
Well.... it's a girl!! Yes, another for team pink. Will update the list in a minute.
Like Tink, my placenta isn't in the right place and I have a 'bulky' cervix (!!!) so I need another scan at 32 weeks to check it's all doing what it should. It doesn't affect the baby's growth - just delivery.
Otherwise, it's a perfectly healthy LO, so I'm very relieved.
Glad yours went well Tink, and good luck all you others having scans in the next few days. It's amazing to see baby wriggling away on screen.LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -

Thank you!
At my 16 week appointment, MW just sorted out my notes, tested my urine right then and there, checked where uterus was, listened to the heartbeat and sent me on my merry way!
Very short and sweet.
Have a list of questions ready for her if you have any - I always forget when I get into these appointments and then remember after it's too late.LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
RMR Congratulations on your healthy little girl!
Fresh My 16 week appointment was a bit of a waste of time TBH, midwife checked my urine, listened to babies heartbeats with dopplar and asked me how I'd been feeling and that was it. Might be a good opportunity to talk through any worries or concerns though.Working my butt off to buy the house of my dreams!0 -

RMR can you please edit your post and remove the quote brackets as we won't be able to use the list
Fresh my 16 week appointment was actually an 18 week appointment and just went through what had happened at the 12 week scan and the mw read up on my notes, tested my urine, asked how I was going etc. I did not get to hear the heartbeat and still haven't heard the heartbeat apparently we will get to hear it at the 25 week appointment.
Tooold if it's worrying you contact the midwife that's what they're there for. I still get crampy type pains but just figure it's stuff stretching as I'm now 23 + 2.DEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14:D:D:D:D
