I was supposed to return to work today and managed to walk 3/4 of the way there then felt incredibly sick again. It was hard walking the last 50 metres so I could sit down. Thank goodness Mr P was with me so he could get the car and take me home. I don't really know if he believes how sick I feel when it happens.

I'll be 24 weeks tomorrow so I'll have to say to those on the big girls thread - eek.

Ah rubbish - sorry to hear that. No I don't think they have a clue. I certainly didn't pre pg.

There's going to be a flood, nay a tsunami of us shortly joining the big girls...

That predictor thing is true for my daughter and if it is right for this one will be another girl.

Peonie - sorry to hear you are still feeling rubbish.

That predictor doesn't work for me - says I should be having a boy!
  • Predictor thing is always gonna be 50/50 though right? :) says i'm having a boy so we'll see!

T2D- i reckon if I stay on this list then the next 13 weeks won't happen and I won't have to bother trying to get my head around this madness! :) when you guys go i'll go too (begrudgingly... ;) )

Went for a walk around windermere today- walked about 6 miles up and down hills which was a bit of hard work in the sun! By the time I got back to the car my fingers were like sausages and I had to try and get my wedding ring off as my finger was throbbing! Spoke to mum (a nurse) and she wanted me to go to a walk-in so they could check I wasn't having pre-eclampsia symptoms. Drove back to our site and they fixed themselves though- must've been walking round all day without using my hands so the blood pooled. Looked like I had spades for hands though! Lol. Btw- windermere is expensive for a pregnant woman to use the loo! Spent about £2 on public loos at 20p a go as baby likes to boot me in the bladder! :o

Wow, lots of news to read!

MrsC - have a fab holiday. I think you have to not block the emergency exit row by being too large, and be physically capable of opening the exit. If you're happy with these two aspects you should be fine (no idea how big your bump is versus the space in the exit aisle!)

Daisie - I'm glad you explained the random gg on the end! I will pronounce it right in my head now :D

    Congratulations on your scan alioops!

Sorry to hear you're suffering such terrible sickness Peopnie :(

After feeling too lethargic for any housework all weekend, I had to come home early today and scrub the house top to bottom, after a call from our agent this morningto say someone wanted to view our house tonight. I chucked a basket of unwashed towels and my pilates ball in the car as an easy tidy up :rotfl:

Haven't really felt sick all day - woop woop!:j

teaandcakeordeath - not sure how long you're in the lakes for, but Tarn Hows is a really easy flat circular walk, you could do it in an hour - 90 mins depending on how much you stop. It's doable in a wheelchair or with a buggy. A circuit of Buttermere is also pretty flat, with just a little easy low level clambering in one part - beautiful views too!

    Great skirt tinkwings!

I'll stop multiple posting now - I just kept missing bits!

Arrgh, too much to catch up with! Apologies in advance for anyone I forget.

Lilmisreading, our boys will be super popular!!

And Peonie hope you start to feel better soon, this fainting stuff just can't go on. hugs.

TCOD, I'm totally jealous of you walking around. I'm still stuck at home and getting cabin fever. I let myself go to my painting class tonight, but after 2 hours of sitting on a high stool working away I did feel like I should lie down. (TMI warning) lots more wetness down below which freaks me out as the doctors are telling me to watch for any sign of waters breaking.

And re the flying stuff - I flew on Aer Lingus recently and was given the emergency exit row. I wasn't showing and never occurred to me to mention it!

Not a lot going on for me. Quite a busy working day today, lots to do but at least it made the time move faster. Nearly forgot the painting class! After 5 or so training classes we moved onto drawing our 'big' painting, and will starting painting it next week. I feel so middle aged and middle class doing a painting course but I'm really loving it. Something I have meant to do all my life but never knew how to start. I just hope I get to do my remaining 5 weeks!

2 days to next scan. I'm not sure what I want them to say... They won't say all is well, but if things are stable it will probably be my call as to how to deal with things (bedrest, work etc). I react much better to direct instructions! If it worsens I sense the consultant there is quite tempted to put me on hospital bedrest which I really don't want.

Is there anyway to get knocked out for a few months!!
