!
4 embryos is a good amount RG, hope you are recovering well from EC. Then the countdown begins xx
SewIt/Frozen how's it going? Are you getting the hang of your injections? SewIt you had your scan today too, how did it go?
PM - hope you get the bleeding sorted out soon as it must be so frustrating for you! Xx
Code - how embarrassing blushing in front of him, how strange that you are attracted to him at certain times of the month too
Hope the BFPers are doing ok too
AFM Had my scan today and have 6 follicles between 12.5-15.3mm and some smaller ones too, have to start Cetrorelix to prevent ovulation tonight along with my Menopur. If things continue they think I will be ready for EC on Wed but will see at my next scan on Monday
Hugs to anyone that needs them xx52 Week Challenge £15/£13780 -
We got through that last thread quickly didn't we?!
RG - that's brilliant! Good luck for ET. Xx
Tea - did you enquire about that job?
Code - bless you! Sometimes these things happen! What's the feet story?!
AFM:
CD 1 today. I must say I actually think Metformin has helped shorten my cycles. My last 4 on it have been, 36,34,24 and 33. Which are all a lot more "normal" than my previous, 60,50 odd ones!
So I start Clomid 150mg again tomorrow and Day 21 bloods booked for 27th Feb.0 -

It is weird. I think some of it is a residual thing as we had a bit of a errm, drunken thing at the Christmas party. Before I met DH of course. Since then there's been this odd thing, that should have gone away by now but hasn't. I think it's also because physically he's very different to DH. Lusting after him while ovulating might be my body's way of directing me towards a male who could get me pregnant. Ha! He wishes.:rotfl:

The feet story. Ok. I've never been good around guys I like. I tend to blush, get tongue tied and run away. On the occasions I can't physically leave the room in the presence of a hot male, I inevitably lose my ability to be charming/witty and turn into a babbling idiot. I have a male friend who is the same and one night we were out and we encouraged him to approach a woman who was giving him the glad eye. On the way over he came up with a winning chat up line but as soon as he got within talking distance, he got nervous, clammed up, and as the silence stretched into the distance, the only thing he could think of to say was "I've got feet!", before turning and leaving the poor girl gobsmacked.
Anyway, I used to work in a uni library and there was this yummy French adult student who came in on a regular basis. He was the most gorgeous man I've ever seen! And on the one occasion I had to serve him he asked where a particular subject catalog was and all I could say was "....books. Over there" before my male colleague, doubled up with laughter stepped in to help. I told him the feet story and since then, all incidents like that have been called "These are my feet moments".
It's a wonder I ever managed to get together with any bloke. When I first met DH I was nervous and got drunk and told him his tie was ugly. :rotfl::rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Oh and on a different note, fingers crossed for the fab follicle four.
Hugs for PM and the bleeding. And a shake for the NHS.

Code - I tend to blush at everyone! very frustrating lol esp when you don't even think that you are embarrassed
Well Im waiting now for our group meeting in 2 wks. They said that they talk about IVF process and what it will entail. On the same day they will give us an app date for our dating etc and then its all go! Getting a little nervous about the amount of apps and how I get around this with work. Not something I want to share with them at the min.
Hope everyone is ok and sending (((hugs))) to anyone that needs one

Glad you've all found us ok. Am on my tablet at mo and not the easiest to update on. Have noted the changes people want on the front page and will do them when I'm on laptop.
MrsD, I did enquire about the job. There was an email address for further info - emailed them on Tuesday and never heard anything back. I wanted a clear answer about what to do so I reckon that was it! Am taking it as a good sign - clearly I'm not meant to have a new job as icsi is going to work properly this time
Still no sign of af and still v hormonal, I cried at the olympic flame earlier!!0 -
Not ttc related at all ladies but since my last surgery a year ago I've had a terribly flaky hair line. Due to my pcos my hair is quite thin at the front anyway but my scalp is so flaky on the hair line area. I'm pretty run down anyway, has anyone had the same? I've tried t gel with no effects, I only use shampoo that's naturals eg green people or faith in nature.0

Tea - it's their loss then isn't it! Fingers crossed that icsi works this time for you Hun.
PM - I've always had a flaky scalp, didn't realise it could have something to do with PCOS. I don't know if you've already tried it but the only thing I've ever used, and still do because it works, is head and shoulders itchy scalp care.
It's quite expensive £5 for a big bottle but it's all I can use.0 -
Mrs d I have tried it but its not helped, I gave up SLs as my hair is quite thin at the front it get oily really quick to.after my last surgery I couldn't wash my own hair for a few months so dh had to do it, I thought is was his rubbish technique but it turns out it wasn't. I'm taking iron anyway but my hair feel awful, ditto my skin.0
