  • Thanks Lisa. I saw a story recently where someone that had been through something unspeakably awful was asked how they coped and they said "I just keep breathing in and out and putting one foot in front of the other". All we can do I suppose.

Very true. After the m/c last year I really didn't think I'd cope, I thought the world would end. But of course it didn't, and amazingly a year has nearly passed* and life has gone on... as it always does. Am rambling now :o.

*Our OTD this time (friday) will be a year since the m/c. Another reason why I don't think I'll test on friday. Whatever the outcome it seems somehow disrepectful to pip and squeak. They didn't really exist for anyone else, so as their mum I want them to have their own special day. I know that sounds a bit bonkers!
  • Doesn't sound bonkers at all. I hadn't joined the thread then but can't imagine how difficult that must have been. Without getting too cringey and embarrassing, you always cope better than you think you will don't you. Quite amazing really.

If we're not getting a baby/babies out of this, then I really don't want another BFP. I feel like I could cope with a BFN, I'd be gutted but I could cope. But to have another +ve then have it taken away..... really hope we don't have that again.

Oh blimey, talk about bringing the thread down! Sorry ladies.... off to find some pma.....

Sorry to hear your still bleeding pink, did you do a test this month?

No, I didn't bother as CD1 showed up on time (in fact, it was a day early). I haven't bothered testing in months when AF has shown up on time. Should I have? :o

EDIT: Now I come to think of it, I have only tested a handful of times in three years when AF has been a day late (or I've got over-excited lol). In most months I haven't tested. None of the FS we've ever seen have asked about that!

Eek, hour and half late with cyclogest!! How come I've spent all day thinking and googling, then forgotten to do the one thing I have any control over?!

I only mention it pink because its kinda fresh in my mind due to recent events with me, it was my abnormal bleeding that made me think something was amiss and do a test. Am not saying that's what's happening with you, and unlike you I'm armed with a million pee sticks just in case, I really want to know what's "going on in there".

Keeping everything firmly crossed for your ladies in the 2WW.

AFM: Really struggling to get through the week, its really dragging. No idea what my cycle is doing this month now so not bothering to try and track anything. Its my holiday in about a month but already I'm looking past that and looking forward to starting my IVF.

Thanks pickle - I do have sticks, though not a million of them. :)

CD9 and still bleeding. Has never happened before and never had any trouble at all with AF before. Making a GP appt!!

picklekin - holiday sounds lovely :) Hope you have a great time x.
teapot - hope things sort themselves out one way or the other! I swear when we're TTC we spend out entire lives in some sort of limbo, trying to work out what on earth our bodies are doing.
WW - have you tested again today? Have everything crossed that your earlier BFNs were just a shy bean.
Isla - hope you're doing ok. Am thinking these last few days of the 2ww may be the worst!

Hope everyone else is getting on ok with stims, waiting for phone calls, etc.

I am failing miserably at distracting myself today. Am also veering madly from convinced it has worked to convinced it hasn't... although am mostly thinking it hasn't this time. I need to shut my mind off for a few days!
