Thanks probably no help right now but I've done a LOT of googling over the last few days and there are so many people who don't get +ve's till later. But massive hugs either way sweetie, hang on in there xx.

Still no idea when to test, am going round in circles. OTD was friday, but I've cancelled the appt as I didn't want to go on my own (and it seems a waste of time tbh when I can poas at home!) Was thinking saturday but am out with my family all day and can't face a BFN just before what's supposed to be a fun day out. Especially as none of them know this time. So am thinking sunday (will be 13dp5dt). Still not ideal as have lots on at church that day so no chance of hiding in bed if it's not good news.

OH's away all weekend - asked him if I could test when he wasn't here and he said "do what you like". Men! :mad::rotfl:.

Ahh WW , I know it is still possible for you to have a BFP but I know exactly how you feel, sending you strength and all The good luck I have.

Ooh Tea. Tbh I would be waiting til hubby was home, I've tested at all points in the 2ww and the easiest I have found (ridiculously!) is when I've had to test late, preserves the image of being pregnant (regardless of the result!) and feels so much 'better' than testing early. I can't explain it any better I don't think, If I ever have another 2ww (doubtful now due to surrogacy) I will be testing on OTD earliest and quite possibly later. Everything crossed for you!

Know exactly what you mean lisa. Obviously the wait is painfully slow at times, but mostly I don't really want to know! We won't be having another go so this might be the most pg I ever get... kind of want to make the most of it, in a weird way. If I wait till OH's home I'd either have to wait another week or test then go straight to work.... really don't fancy that.

For me it doesn't make sense to test when it can still be really ambiguous. I know even at 13dp5dt there's still no guarantee of a definite answer either way, but it feels more reassuring than testing earlier. I'd wind myself up even further if I did that, whatever the result.

ETA: am definitely veering towards sunday. That's 2 days past OTD.

Gaaah, men eh? I'm with you on that, I thought I'd test again today as didn't want a shock in the morning when have to head back to the office and will be bombarded with ridiculous questions. No cramps/AF at the moment but then that's probably the progesterone isn't it? I did call the clinic but they haven't called back so not sure whether to keep taking it.

Also, don't know about you but I'm soooo desperate to have a long soak in a lovely hot bath. I daren't if there is any chance left though, however small.

Hmm for what its worth, I'd be tempted to test Friday (depending on what I had on at work, meetings etc) as I wouldn't be able to contain myself any longer! Can you hide out at your desk without being pestered if needs be? Then if it were bad news (which of course if wont be ) at least you wouldn't be home alone on Saturday and have a distraction until DH gets back. And when you get the good news, well... :j Not long to go now!!
