Glad the cat came back, I always used to try the old wives tale of putting butter on their paws when I let them out the first time, its supposed to help them find the scent home again. Probably hogwash!

I couldn't help myself and poas this morning. It was negative (maybe a squinter if you tried REALLY hard). I guess just a weird blip and a chemical then. If I hadn't stupidly tested in the week I'd have saved myself all this drama. Will find out the proper blood test result tonight, but no there is little hope now. Wish I would stop bleeding.. Not even sure where my cycle is now, I'm due AF next week, but will it come now?

Not sure if I should be pleased that his sperm can actually meet my egg and do SOMETHING or if I should worry that I miscarried.

Picklekin I would say that this would currently be AF and your cycle will now start over. I'm really sorry that this has happened to you x

AFM, BFN is now official day after test day. No idea at all what to do now and feel desperate. Help :-(

Had a nightmare morning so far. Traffic on the way to the hospital was horrendous, I always leave an hour early (if no traffic takes 20 mins) and was still late. Plus it's peeing down so got soaked getting from the car park to the unit. Scan went ok-ish. EC is booked for wed as there are three follies on RH ovary over 18mm. But there's none on LH that size. There's a lot on both sides a bit short of that so they checked with the consultant whether to leave it another couple of days but he said no. Can't help thinking it's a waste to go now as they won't be ready.

Usually inject at 6pm but they wanted the last menopur to have longer to work so had to go home and do it straight away (totally wrong direction.... of course). Got stuck in hospital car park for 20 mins, then had to aquaplane home for quick injection then to work.... only an hour later than I said I'd be .

Phew... ready for a sit down now! Will be egg dancing from now till wed morning hoping the stragglers catch up.

Isla - how did you get on? Do you have an EC date yet?

WW - is EC today? Sorry if not... am easily confused!

tea I'm the same as you. 3 reasonably mature ones on the RHS and 1 reasonably mature on the left with scores of stragglers on both sides. I am high risk of OHSS so they don't want to over-stimulate. I have my trigger and will either have to trigger tonight for EC on Wed or tomorrow for EC on Thurs. I'm waiting for a call to confirm what they want to do.

So fricking nervous right now.

Sorry for not reading back. Promise to do it later, it's too hard to sneak on during the day.

Isla -that sounds very familiar! After having OHSS last time I'm certainly in no rush to have that experience again! I've been kept on a lower dose of menopur throughout this time and still seem to have responded ok so fingers crossed eh?? Hope the hospital call you soon and you get a day confirmed.
