Does he do both private and NHS then? Sorry PM, not sure how it works. Here's hoping he can finally help.0

Ww only private and therefor no treatment for me from him, they hope he can offer a fresh pair of eyes.my battery died in the middle of talking to fs last night so going to call her and she about iui.0

So was it the NHS that have said you should see a private consultant?! Assume you don't have to pay...
Who prescribed the hormones? Surely they're at least in part behind the bleeding. Whoever told you to take them should be taking some responsibility for sorting out the bleeding, shouldn't they? If it's not the hormones (if you've been taken them long-term) - if it's a consequence of your last treatment, then surely whoever did the treatment should check you out?
Are you taking iron supplements in the meantime? x

I'm tempted to take two days after ET though. Will be soooo paranoid about shaking emby loose! (stupid I know)
Delurking to say this is a really common fear. But your womb isn't a balloon (like they show on animations) but more like a jam sandwich. The embryo is placed near the top of the womb - so it's more like a pip held in a sandwich, rather than rolling around inside a open space. In theory it should only go if the blood also goes.
Good luck ladies! I'm lurking with fingers and toes tightly crossed for everyone.0 -
good luck with call PM xxx0

Thanks. I was sort of picturing it like a hot air balloon, with a big hole in the bottom. :rotfl:
I'll see how I feel at the time - think I'll tell work I'm taking two days post ET but then I can always go back on the second day if I want to.
Clinic did say no high impact exercise during the 2ww. I'll use that as an excuse to drive to work instead of cycle. My cycle route is horribly pot-holed and I definitely have images of emby trying to cling on while being thrown about over that!0 -
Still bleeding here, and the pain is getting worse. OH made me call the Dr and he's prescribed something to stop the bleeding and make the pain go away, met-something, have to go at lunch and collect the pills. Can't do my TTC any good can they??0

Would it be excessive to take the rest of the year off for EC/ET?? Am seriously stressed out with work.0

Don't tempt me! I am this close to going home and telling them to stick it today.
ALso, I have utterly lost any last hold on reality I may have had. Went out to get lunch and was feeling fed up with life... work is full of idiots, OH is being less than helpful, right ovary is throbbing like a b****. Found myself sniffing baby shampoo in an effort to convince myself it'll be worth it. Yes, you read that right.
ETA: it was in a bottle, to be clear... I wasn't sniffing stranger-babies.0
