Official Trying to Conceive - Thread 11

Am a bit worried that my basal thermometer isn't really a basal one at all... It goes to 2d.p, but when I looked at the leaflet that came with it, it says accuracy is +/-0.5 degrees. And the box or thermometer themselves don't say basal thermometer, they just say digital thermometer. It just had a small white sticker on the box that said basal, that looked like it was stuck on by the shop. Does this sound like a proper one to you?

Have charted my temp for 46 days now (almost my full cycle as AF is due any day now) but my temps are very erratic and I can't see much of a pattern. Although this could be because I had my implant in for half of that... FF even told me that my temps were all over the place and that I should be more consistent as to when I take them, but I have been.

Well as predicted, AF arrived yesterday evening. So I am now officially joining this thread, scary! Can I please go down as CD2 please

hi ladies i am very confused just need to pick your brains if thats ok. I think i ov'd really early this month cd 11/12, then yesterday had back ache just like before af, and a tiny bit of very faint spotting but this would have made af a good week too soon, spotting has gone still back ache this morning but that has gone now too, could af be on its way, that would be a 3 week cycle ive never had that before.

It could be implantation bleeding? This can happen between roughly 6-12 days after ov. What CD are you? Fx you get your BFP this month

Thanks for all the kind words. This will have been my second mmc in 10 months.


I received my discharge letter through the post today, it states I need to get my BMI down to below 29 (its currently 33). Operation weight loss starts on Monday, I'm toying with the idea of joining slimming world but I don't know if I could justify the £20 odd per month to get weighed. I've tried going alone before but I have the will power of a knat.


I've found some IC OPK's lurking in my bathroom, if anyone wants them PM me and I will send them out. I tried to use them for one month but I couldn't get on with them.

Jay2043, I know SW seems a lot but it really isn't just money to be weighed. The support you get from staying to group as well as ideas and finding out about new things is well worth it.
