Hope everyone is OK and having a good week: almost Friday!

I've decided we need to step everything up a gear and am going to buy a CBFM. I'm going to buy an old one from eBay and hope it's successful before they discontinue the old sticks.

Morning all. Hope everyone is ok :D

Sorry to hear your news Jay20043

Thanks for doing the lists Kellykins. Please could I be updated to 0DPO please? Got my solid smiley yesterday. Not sure this is going to be my month though as me and OH are so worn out recently that we are struggling to BD :( Why isn't this TTC malarkey easier physically and emotionally!!?

Massive congratulations Frankieloo - great news!

Jay20043 - I'm so sorry to hear you've just had an ERPC and do understand how you feel, I had one in January for a triplet missed miscarriage so if you want to talk about it, please feel free to PM me or there's some lovely support over on the miscarriage thread.

Am a bit concerned to read reports of the CBFM going into the sale - good news I guess but it does worry me that it's going to be discontinued - I bought mine a while ago and it was expensive so I plan to keep using it for as long as I need to.

AFM - I had my 2 peak days on Weds & Thurs so not sure yet which day I'm past ovulation but it looks like things are getting back to normal. Everything since the ERPC has been about 2 days later than it used to be and that holds true this month as well - seems I've OV'd on CD18 when it's normally about CD16.

Fingers crossed for this month ladies - keeping everything crossed for you all.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning ladies, this will probably be my last post for a couple of weeks as I won't have computer access.

Just a quick note - it might be worth reading your opk's instructions (not that any of you haven't) but the ones I used showed a +ve 36 hours prior to ov ... I am sure everyone is dtd as soon as you get the +ve though :o

Good luck to all and sending lots of baby dust for March graduates - Here is hoping everyone is very fruitful soon it is stressful ttc :( xx

Can I please be updated to CD4

I don't really understand opk's :o I get the 2 lines positive, 1 line negative, but if the positive line is light that means it's not positive? Oh dear... will have to read them again.
On the plus side I lost another 2lbs this week

Hi - opks work completely differently to hpts (where any second line is a +ve). For an ov. test to be positive the test line has to be as dark as or darker than the control line. Many people will get 2 lines right through a cycle.

Even a positive test doesn't automatically mean ov. will take place. It just shows that the LH surge is happening. Ov usually happens 24hrs ish after this (give or take 12 hours or so). But there can be more than one surge before ov happens, and you can have a surge and still not ov. at all that cycle.

The best time of day to use them is in the afternoon (2pm to 6pm ish is good). Ideally you should limit your fluid intake for a few hours before testing.

    HTH :).
  • Gelly, the original CBFM is being discontinued as they have a new fancy one coming out, maybe try to stock up sticks now incase you have trouble finding them in future, you can always pass them on via Ebay if you end up wit more than you need. A couple of us have seen reduced sticks in Boots so may be worth a look if you're running short.

Most people suggest just taking from first day of AF up to OV so that's what I did. Same with EPO.

I'm going to tentatively go over to the other thread now. Hope to see you all there soon xxx
