I'm out for November... Can I be updated to CD1 please kellykins? I told myself I was out this month as we barely DTD around my ovulation time but I am genuinely gutted.

I use Ovia which analyses your symptoms (although I find it's analysis vague)

I think a few pages back we were discussing the different apps. I mainly used Ovuview as I don't track my basal body temperature, and it seemed the simplest one. Aso use Ovia and Fertility Friend though (I'm app bonkers)

So sorry if this is patronising, it's just because you mentioned you didn't know about the fertile window - everyone used to harp on about ovulating on cycle day 14, but it's a total myth. Yes, some women invariably will, but a lot don't. For instance, I have a 29/30 day cycle and ovulate day 18/19 (as I say, don't temp so can't be 100%). My fertile days therefore are around days 13-21, but realistically more like 15-20

the most simplest way I found was to buy a Basal Body Thermometer (BBT) with which you take your temperature at approx the same time each morning (for me it was 6.50am when alarm went off). They are less than a fiver off ebay or amazon.
It charts your temperature (in Farenheit - that's important) and tiny changes can indicate when you are most fertile.

If you use an app - such as Fertility Friend (that's the one I used) you input that temperature and any other symptoms (such as first day of period - which would be CD1 for example)

The more you use the app, the better it can then predict when your "fertile window" is which will help you to know when to DTD!!

Hope that helps! And don't worry about asking "silly" questions - there is no such thing as a silly question - everyone has to learn at some point!

Thanks for asking blueneleh but nothing yet. I decided to save myself the heart ache and not POAS anymore this month. My cm is drying up today and I've got my familiar pre-AF cramps so I suspect the witch will arrive tomorrow.....just in time for the weekend! I have a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge in anticipation lol!!:cool:
