Hi, I rang doctor last week, was really uninterested, said to go see them in a week or two!!

After being a bit down after missing they key days the apps say (FF & ovia), Ive an abundance of EWCM today? Temp came down today from small spike yesterday so I think, if I'm reading my body right, I've yet to ovulate. Yay!!!
I understand that te apps are only as good as the data put in, and based on averages until my cycle sorts itself out from coming off the pill 3 months ago, I think they are steadily increasing in length, but obviously the app doesn't know that! how much faith to put in the apps or do I listen to the signs my body is telling me (CM & BBT) ? Although don't have much faith in this either as last month I could've sworn I was pregnant!:rotfl:
Also really worried that being on the pill for 14 years has masked some symptoms of problematic thyroid as my bbt is incredibly low (constantly 36.2) and Google says this is a key sign for this and listed a number of other symptoms which I have about half of!! dont know whether to go to docs or not?
:j for not missing ov!
I would definitely go to the GP if you are worried about an under active thyroid. I was diagnosed with an over active thyroid in May this year just through having routine bloods done for something else. It was only through charting that I now recognise that I didn't actually ovulate much (if at all) from me starting TTC in January this year until I started treatment in July. A wonky thyroid plays a big part in hindering TTC so I would definitely get it checked out ASAP. Obviously I'm still waiting around these parts so getting it sorted hasn't helped me so far lol! But it's definitely better to know sooner rather than later. Good luck and Fx0 -

Good luck for Tuesday... My GP has been lovely, but she understands my concerns as she herself had to adopt as she couldn't conceive.
Update with me AF arrived with a vengeance in the night - 3 days later than expected. Which is a good job considering I drank 3 glasses of wine last night to help alleviate the significant pain i'd been in for most of yesterday... Figured it was less harmful to a baby than the tramadol would have been!! You'll be glad to hear the SS didn't stop even though i've been having period pains for 2-3 days. Mind went into overdrive thinking, maybe it's ectopic, maybe i'm losing a twin.... Get a grip girl!!!!
Next month, i'm switching my brain and my wishful thinking off!!!
Please can I be added to the lists Kellykins, Cherrylips30 (37) ttc #1 10/14 CD1 today
Babydust to you all xxxRemember how far you've come, not just how far you have to go.

3 days left of my 2WW wait - driving myself mad SS.
Been so tired (nothing unusual for me) and have felt sick upto lunch time for the last 4 days culminating in being sick in the kitchen sink while making breakfast this morning.
Very glad there's no tests in the house but so feel as though I'm setting myself up for a big disappointment on weds.
Even tried tempting fate by ordering OV sticks on Amazon yesterday
SIL is 15 weeks and my brother sent me a recording of the heartbeat yesterday, not entirely sure how I felt about that TBH. Glad it was a text do could do a happy/excited one back without the green-eyed monster rearing it's ugly head!0 -
Marmite27 Ooooooh feeling excited for you here. Crossing not just my fingers but everything else too!!
Sorry to everyone who got AF.
Am trying to see it as everything AF shows her head that was not the month I was supposed to conceive and fate/God/the universe is waiting for the right time to give us the perfect child for us. And doing as much BD as you can cant hurt can itTotal Debt:

Sorry for the AF's cherry and bobley - was hoping for some more BFP's before the month is out! Hopefully Marmite this is your month.
CD15 today - still no positive OPK test although the lines were close together in colour yesterday. Will test again this afternoon.
Happy weekend all - hope you all enjoyed your extra hour in bed!0 -
Hugs for AF cherry, I hope you mange to switch off your brain and wishful thinking - if you do manage then you're a better woman than me!
Marmite27 I have to say that does sound promising. It's unusual for most people to vomit in the kitchen sick unless they are I'll or pregnant. Everything crossed for you.
Dingdong- I'm now at cd16 and had similar to you yesterday. The darkest line I've seen yet on the OPKs but still not as dark as the control. A bit excited to see today's result (sad!).0 -

So I couldn't wait any longer and did todays OPK....it isn't as dark as yesterdays?! Should I be worried?0 -
Sorry to hear about AF ladies
Fingers crossed for you Marmite, we've had far too few BFPs this month!
I don't know anything about OPKs dingdong, sorry I can't be of any help.
Had a bit of a busy weekend so just been lurking. Caved in and tested yesterday at 8/9DPO and got a BFN as expected. This morning and yesterday morning OH was trying to initiate BD but yesterday I was in too much pain to continue (mixture of that weird pelvic pain I mentioned, which has no sign of going away yet, and back pain) and this morning I was too exhausted and still in pain. Team that with a sudden dip in my sex drive too so not a happy bunny this morning (what's new? :rotfl:)
The extra hour in bed was fantastic! Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Ding dong - how long is your cycle?
From what I've read you can't really rely on them gradually getting darker as that won't happen to everyone. It may have just detected a normal variance in LH.
Best do another one 24hrs after yesterday having held your wee for 4hrs and not drinking much in that time.
Fingers crossed0
