From what I've read you can't really rely on them gradually getting darker as that won't happen to everyone. It may have just detected a normal variance in LH.
Best do another one 24hrs after yesterday having held your wee for 4hrs and not drinking much in that time.

I've no idea how long my cycle is - this is my first after being on BC for about 9 years! Will keep testing daily and see what happens x

Cherrylips - sorry to hear about AF. Our bodies trick us sometimes in not very nice ways!

Marmite - that sounds really promising. Hoping to hear about your BFP soon, fingers xd.

Lulu - it was quite early so a BFN doesn't put u out by any means.

I'm 10dpo. Still having brown discharge (TMI!) and when I've had that previously AF has come a little early so we'll have to see.
I didn't get my extra hour this morning - that's the downside of having a little one. DS was up as usual!

Yeah I was half expecting a little miracle but it did make me feel less guilty about the bottle of wine I had last night!

I have had literally NO cramps this month! Normally get some 10 days before AF and not had any. My pelvic pain isn't a cramping pain either.

I swear I had some brown too, but I've not had that before so we will also see.

What birth control were you on? If it was a combined pill there's a saying that it takes 7 days to turn the ovaries off and 7 days to turn them on again. So it's possible you could have already ovulated. The first cycle off is a nightmare to predict, if you don't get a BFP this cycle then the next cycle will be easier to judge as it'll be the first 'normal one'
I would plod on with the OPKs for now but you may use a fair few more before AF or BFP whichever happens first.

Lulu - don't count yourself out yet. Most tests aren't positive that early. Hold on until 12dpo at least. Well if you can!

It was a POP so supposedly should become fertile again straight away. I will carry on and see what happens, as you say next cycle should hopefully be easier to predict! x

I just checked back to when I came off cerezette. I reckon I ovulated day 11 after stopping taking it based on some crippling left sided pelvic pain which was followed by a period two weeks later.
The first cycle is mostly about your lining building back up again as it's been suppressed by the pop.

Edited to add: Too impatient to find out what is going on with my cycles, not (yet) too impatient to get pregnant as I realise this is my first month and I'll most likely be trying a lot longer!
