Teehee I'm right there with you white as snow! So excited now.

Ugh, my friend who brought his baby daughter to the wedding on Saturday has just told me they're expecting again. both by accident!!!! That's not fair :(

Also sister has announced she's looking at engagement rings at the weekend and planning a wedding next year in Las Vegas - which I said was too far and too expensive for us to go. Especially if we're expecting and because we are buying a house next year. Plus they've been together for less time than OH and I and I know he isn't even thinking of proposing to me any time soon! But insists that any baby we have are given his surname!

    Bad day for me!

  • Hi ladies,

I'm here to join you too.

I came off the pill about 6 weeks ago. Been taking folic acid a couple of months now and had AF a couple of weeks ago. Doctor had told me to be off the pill for 12 weeks ideally, but if it happens sooner, I'm not too worried. I'm at the stage of waiting those 2 weeks to test... It seems forever!

I've not been tracking ovulation dates though, so if nothing happens in a couple of months, I will think about it. I'm trying not to get too stressed and just enjoy it.

    Happy baby dancing,
    Weesmiler xx

Awww lulu virtual hugs being sent you :grouphug:
Try to concentrate on the good things in your own life hun and the fact that you soon may be getting your own good news.

Is it just me that finds the whole getting pregnant by accident thing a bit odd? I understand that no protection is 100% but I find that its the same people it happens to everytime. For instance I know someone who said that they got pregnant 3 time by accident, and another who said it was an accident but it turns out they werent using any protection. Surely sex without protection or used wrongly= no accident?

    And welcome Weesmiler  xxxx

Oh I know, it's ridiculous. My mate is on her third and she claims all three were because the pill stopped working, which I know can happen, but if it happens to you 3 times you're doing something wrong

Does my head in. It's our three year anniversary at some point in the next few days (we were drunk for most of our first few days together) and he just shrugs it off and expects me to be okay with it I'm surprised I've even made it on this thread tbh. Sometimes I feel like he's just doing it to shut me up, regardless of how much he assures me that isn't the case

It's like he's doing me a favour by saying we can have a baby. He did get upset with the bfn the other month but feel like I'm fighting for it and he's just happy sat on sofa

Do we have the same OH? :ROTFL:
he is annoyed about our friend having no 2 but isn't phased about the wedding, he doubts they'll do it.
