ok, sooooo am in quandary this morning and trying not to get over excited in case its wrong/too early/I did the test wrong!
However when I last posted about my messed up symptoms and spotting, wendz86 said it might be an implantation bleed......so I'm only due AF today but, due to the large supply of IC pregnancy tests in the cupboard, thought I would do one....and it has a faint second line!
Question tho, I read it after 5 mins, not 3mins as I was in the shower, and cant find the instructions with them - would 5mins be too long?!
Dont want to get my hopes up, so not telling husband or anyone until AF doesnt arrive/I get at least a more confident line but had to tell you ladies on here!! now thinking I have imagined it!
Fingers crossed and fingers crossed for all the others testing soon, and hello to all the new ones xx

Lulu - my OH didn't propose till our dd was 8 months old , completely didn't expect it at that point.

Think i am out this month, af due today and woke up with af pains. BFN this morning too.

Hippihaz how exciting! How long will you wait to retest?

How does everyone manage finding out when they're ovulating? I'm so irregular with my periods although hoping I may get some sort of cycle back after coming off the pill. My doctor said not to bother with ovulation sticks and to just have sex 2-3 times a week but ideally I'd like to know when so I know when to test!

Well I've just done another test and the 2nd line is stronger than it was when I first had the positive result so is this a good sign in spite of the bleeding I had before the first positive test? Clutching at straws I know.

I've got a positive on my OPK, so I should be ovulating 4 days earlier than last month. Hopefully that sorts out the short LP problem from last month.

Haven't managed to get much bding in the last week as have been feeling off and I don't really feel like it tonight as I think I have a cold coming, but needs must I guess!

Lulu andJazz....I've been with my OH for nearly 12 years and not a hint of a proposal in that time! I really wanted to do things the 'traditional' way by getting married and then having children. However, I have now officially given up on that idea, and the idea of him proposing ever! Now I'm just concentrating on TTC, as about this time last year I realised I can't stop the marching on of time or the increasingly loud tick tock I hear wherever I go lol!! My OH knows I want to get married, but it's not really a priority for him. I know your pain as I have now seen all of our friends get married, and most now have children, and most have been together less time than us, but ho hum, we love each other and that's all that matters.....although a BFP sooner rather than later would be nice too! Lol! Fx for you

Hi and welcome to the newbies.

Thank goodness its the weekend- I need a few days off to recharge my batteries- I feel like I have no energy at the moment!!

I have very irregular cycles (100 days, 43 days, 170 days and 70 days) so I have previously not attempted to track ovulation and have just tried to have sex regularly- but this month I'm thinking sod it- I have 40 ov tests waiting to be used, I will use them and see if I actually do ovulate (I've just been diagnosed with pcos)!! Personally I would for the first few months go with what the Dr has advised- its very easy to get obsessed with ttc and I personally think that what your Dr has suggested will help you not get too obsessed from the start.

At least by using the sticks when I have my appointment in November with a fs that at least we really have tried!!

So managed to wait a total of 24hrs before re-testing (!) and its still coming up with a faint positive Asked OH if he could see a second line and he was like, 'oh that line its paler than the other, that cant mean pregnant' - men, lol, I was just happy that he could see there was a second line! Going to try and wait another week and then do a clear blue digital one and then I will actually believe it.
