Good luck MrsSippi, I hope it's the news you are looking for.
CD1 for me please. Not particularly worried about this though, still NTNP for us!#KiamaHouse0 -
Morning ladies,
Hope you're all ok? Nothing to report here, still no signs of temp shift so probably haven't ovulated. Doesn't stop us BD'ing though
Congratulations to ladies with positives, good luck to those waiting to test and massive hugs to those on CD1 xPAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03

Actually while I'm here, has anyone experienced a sense of fear with trying to conceive? This will be my 3rd time. 1st I had a mc, 2nd resulted in my beautiful DD (7). Thing is after I had DD I suffered really badly with PN depression, anxiety, panic attacks and agoraphobia.
I'd love another child but the thought of all the above happening again is quite scary.
I know there are sources of help but its just the thought.
Thanks xPAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03

I'm scared too, but I've never been pregnant before so I think it's fear of the unknown. I'm also afraid of what could potentially happen (to do with OH, but not publicly saying what it his for his privacy) because I would think it was my fault.
I'm beginning to be scared about actually getting pregnant! I think that's because of how my life will change, but I do get excited about it. We went on a night out on Saturday and in the middle of a club OH was talking about baby names and how he had looked up the meanings of some that we had mentioned - awww!
Hugs to the "wine and chocolate zone" ladies, and anyone else who needs one xxxxOur Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

I think that sounds perfectly normal after what you've been through! I suppose the only thing you can do is use your previous experience to inform how you might cope with things next time round and use all the support that is available to you.
I think all of us here are probably feeling fearful for a whole variety of reasons. For me, I am fearful of the life change, how are we going to afford it, will I be a good mum, etc etc But I also feel added stress because there have been fertility problems in my family. A very close family member has been ttc for 5 years with no success. Because of this, I sometimes worry that the same will happen to me, despite having no evidence to support this. I am trying to tell myself not to worry until I have been trying for 12 months, but it is hard not to worry every month we fail with my close family member's experience in the back of my mind.Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):

I'm only just dragging myself out the depths of the PN depression, I've been seeing a counsellor etc and am proud of where I've come, but I feel like DD went through so much in her short years and i'd hate to put her (and any other child) through it.
If anyone with previous PN depression experience could comment I would really appreciate it.
Lulu - I think it's lovely your OH is so eager to have children with you. Good luck in your journey xPAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03
