Fingers crossed for you MrsSippi!!
Don't beat yourself up boatgirlyou've had a rubbish time and you're entitled to feel however you like! Take care of yourself though
I'm with you snapping - I actually came on here so people could tell me off for testing this morning with an IC. Of course it was BFN! I know the list says I'm 10dpo today, but as it was so late on a Sunday and could have been that night/Monday that I OV'd I'm counting it as 9 today in my head. I'm not even due on til Monday/Tuesday next week - such an idiot for testing. You're not out though until AF shows - I'm consoling myself with all the internet stories of women who haven't had BFPs until really late.DS - 08/15

I've got my usual pre AF cramps today so just awaiting the inevitable. I will then be starting cycle 10 TTC
Why is it so hard for me to make a baby when everyone around me gets pregnant by not 'really' trying, or by not trying at all!!
*delurks*
*hugs* It took us 13 cycles/months to catch with Dale, and after we lost her, it took us 4 1/2 months to catch with this one. It honestly amazes me that anyone gets pregnant, ever! When you look at the statistics, how we only ovulate one day per cycle, and you only have that one day, maybe 36 hours to catch it, and even then there's only a 20-25% chance of it implanting, then 20% chance of early miscarriage, it's amazing that anyone gets pregnant! Hang in there hon, you'll get it!

Just dropping in to update (thanks for all the good wishes). I did do another cheapie hpt yesterday and got a very faint 2nd line (in fact it was so faint I couldn’tbe sure it was there at all this time). When I did the test the day before that showed 2 lines more clearly it was from the GP and she did say that it was more sensitive than the ones you buy in the shops (not sure how true this is as I thought they were all basically the same, but what do I know?).
I had this too, the line was there (just) on Monday, nothing Tuesday, there again (just) Wednesday, I eventually bought a "real" test that says in words "pregnant" or "not" which was the only way I could believe it. Fingers crossed and good luck.0 -

That does give me hope as I'm scared it will take a long time to happen!
Got a bit grumpy with OH yesterday as he wouldn't DTD. How else do you make a baby?! Honestly, I feel like it's me initiating everything! Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Thank you for your support ladies, it's fab coming on here knowing you all understand
A special thanks to Mrs_T_M for de lurking. It's stories like yours that make me give myself a mental slap cos your road has been so much harder than mine. Thank you *hugs*
As predicted please could I be updated to CD1? Thank you Kellykins.
So this is month 10 TTC. Going to try and relax a bit this month. No OPKs and will try and DTD more on a when I feel like basis rather than regimented....although I'm saying this now, not so sure how it will pan out in practice! I'll still temp due to previous charts showing no ovulation, just to keep a check on things. Anyone lurking who has got there BFP can give any pearls of wisdom on how to stay relaxed thus month?! Is it possible??!!
Good luck to any imminent testers0 -

I think everyone is different, so what is "relaxing" for one isn't for another. For me, both for DD1 and this BFP, knowing that I had done everything I could do to maximise our chances meant that I was more relaxed about whether it happened or not, as everything else was out of my control. So pregnancy vitamins, Angus castus, balance activ lubricant, and extensive use of OV tests to determine the best times. The months I didn't do things for DD1, I was more stressed tht I could have done more or worried about missing the moment.
That works for me, that said, I know plenty of others who would find doing my way, stressful, so go with what works for you!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Morning ladies.
OK.....so I did an IC yesterday at 11 DPO just for fun (as you do:rotfl:) and a line appeared after 5 minutes. :eek:It was not as dark as the control line though but it was clear in a photo. I then started googling false positives for IC, and came to the conclusion it was a dodgy test.
Then this morning I did a FRER and an IC with FMU. The FRER came up with a bright pink band almost straight away. The IC only showed a very very feint line but I didn't hold it in the pee (sorry TMI) for that long because my hands were shaking a little at the shock of the FRER coming up so quickly.
I am going to do a CBD, a FRER and an IC when I get home as I cant quite believe it yet. I haven't even told OH yet as I am in a state of shock/denial that this might actually be the month! I am due for AF tomorrow, so in my head I will only believe it when I am way past this time.0
