The reflexology was lovely, if only for spending an hour or so laid on her consulting bed propped up by fluffy cushions and unloading my worries. My feet didn't feel any different afterwards but I just felt calmer in myself.

I'm certainly not one to go for the alternative therapy route - quite the opposite in fact but my Mum often has it and swears by it so I had the taster session - having conceived after that, I decided it's certainly worth another go and I will be going back again next cycle.

It's not something I'd do all the time - it's £45 per hour (she did spend 1.5 hours with me last night but I had a voucher for £10 off first treatment plus I used cash I got for my birthday at the weekend, towards it so it was a treat for me.

ttc39 - we're not that far from you - we're in Hemel Hempstead and the reflexologist I saw was in St. Albans but I have found a few up your way - not that I'm recommending them but worth a look and perhaps a treat for yourself....

  • Hello Ladies,

Quick update here. Hubby and I are going skiing at the start of April, and although its only my first moth of TTC and the chances of getting pregnant straight away are slim, I still can help but worry about being (maybe unaware) in the early stages of pregnancy and skiing! Therefore we are not going full blown into TTC until straight after the holiday.

I do feel silly worrying about this as like I said, its rare I'd fall pregnant straight away, but still, I know it would hold me back on my holiday if I had any chance of being pregnant.

I'm quite an active person, I do lots of rock climbing, mountain biking, running etc and although I will continue to lead an active lifestyle if I get pregnant, I certainly know I will need to calm down a bit!

    Hope everyone is well x

  • Alice I've had that this week as one of DH's co-workers is now pregnant called her a b*tch when he told me as my first reaction but I am happy for her as apparently she'd been trying for 10 months so definitely not quick. The green eyed monster will get us all but funnily enough I'm happy when anyone on here gets a BFP :rotfl:

Hugs and baby dust to everyone xx

    Hi ttc39

My reflexologist told me to see her around CD10 ish so I interpret that as once a month just before OV.... as you say, £25 a week is very ouchy!

Good luck - I'm keeping absolutely everything crossed for you!

    Hi ladies

Have been on holiday so not on here in the last few days. Seems like quite a few new people - hope your stay is short.

    Hope everyone is doing ok
  • Just checking in.
Thanks for the lists kellykins. x
I've now had enough of my self indulgence. Had a nice evening yesterday, takeaway and a glass (yes, just one!) of wine.
Today I have done my housework and been out for a lovely meal. Me and OH have planned what work needs doing to the house over the next year or so, before we put it up for sale. By then we should also know what size of property we need to look for. Hopefully we will need an extra room. I'm trying to think positively.
Hugs to anyone who needs one. I'll give myself one too. :-)
    Love to all. X

    Hi to all newbies :).

Battlestar - i know easier to say than do but try not to worry about it till it comes to it. If you do fall pregnant quickly then you would just have to decide what to do about that then but for now it is something to look forward to .

No news here but might do a sneaky test tomorrow even though i know its too early!
