Hi all.

Well hubby is a silly bean - he asked me tonight how long should we be trying before we look into 'alternatives' and getting fertility tests etc. We have been trying for three months! (and actually only 2 cycles so far as I'm testing this weekend). I told him at least a year and he seems quite annoyed it hasn't happened yet as 'all the young scallies manage it without even trying'. I then tried to cheer him up by saying I could be pregnant now but he said I've been so moody this week as usual (PMT) so he thinks not - thanks love!

Until he said that I was feeling quite hopeful as I know we DTD at exactly the right time and I'm not feeling like AF is due - he's probably right but let me just have a bit of hope!

Anyone else's OH being a bit melodramatic about it all? And anyone else testing this weekend?

NickyNooNa- Ill test this weekend if af hasn't shown, but I don't hold out much hope as we dtd when we probably should have. To be honest though Im just hoping that I have a fairly normal cycle this time (so hopefully not much more than say 35 days!!)

I tested a couple of days ago Far far too early but I just had a crazy moment - this is why I bought a bunch of ICs, so I could quietly go insane without wasting too much money :rotfl: obviously it was BFN. No more tests this month! I promise!

Hello everyone!

Nothing to report from me- don't think I ovulated again this month. Very annoying. It feels so futile when my body isn't even doing what it should be.

A friend posted something on Facebook earlier which suggested she's pregnant so I've had a bit of an attack of the green-eyed monster...

Claretsgirl I think you are being hard on yourself, you definitely need to give yourself time to grieve.

(Hugs) Alice31 for the green eyed monster. It's a really horrible feeling that other people you know are getting to their BFP first when it is all you are thinking about yourself

AFM I'm now 6DPO and I'm doing really badly at trying to forget it's the two week wait. No matter how many times are tell myself off I keep finding myself symptom spotting, although the only symptoms are sore boobs which I know are just related to ovulation rather than anything else :cool: I'm definitely not going to test early but perhaps I need a metaphorical slap yo stop SS and getting my hopes up

How soon after O is the earliest I can test? Lol. Brought a load of IC tests as last time I spent a fortune as I'm impatient! Pretty sure I o'ed early as my supposed o day was yesterday and not a single thing to indicate it happen vs em every symptom under the sun at the weekend so hopefully we dtd at the right time!
