Just dropping by to say congratulations BezzyK!! x
kellykins could I please be removed from the lists. Thank you so much for doing them, it has been very much appreciated.
Unfortunately after what has been a very stressful time for many reasons my relationship has broken down. At the moment I am not even upset, just resigned to the fact. I'm sure the tears will come very soon.
Best of luck to you all and I'm sure I'll be lurking from time to time to see how you are all doing. I have appreciated the support from this thread. X
Sorry to hear that looba. I hope you are ok.

Just discovered this thread re TTC - please may I ask a question as you all seem very knowledgeable.
I have PCOS but AF regular - 30 days, being sent for 21 day progesterone test but my doctor says if AF regular then I must be ovulating (but that's not what I've read elsewhere) & to go for the test 14 days before due ie in my case CD16 (I thought the idea was cd21/28 cycle ie 7 days before AF due) I can't argue with her, but am asking for advice here before booking the blood test
Thank you!
Its true that you still dont necessarily ovulate even if your periods are regular.
As for the bloods question. I think thats correct - but someone more knowledgable than me will tell you the correct answer. xx0 -
Ladies, can you help? This afternoon and evening I've had a horrible metalic-y taste in my mouth and keep feeling sick. Now, I've googled this and it could be a sign of being pregnant. But, only been off the pill 16 days - surely that would be far too quick?
I should stop googling thingsBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I know it's hard not to obsess, I was obsessed when trying to conceive DD. I'd like to say I'd be less obsessed the next time but who am I kidding?! Google is the work of the devil!

Musogirl295 I did read in one of my apps (yes, I have more than one!), that you get a surge of LH about a week after AF, which then goes down, and then you get a bigger surge just before OV. This totally made sense to me the first month I used a digital OPK. I still got darkish bands on the IC about CD 7-11 which then went, but were never as dark as the control line. The digi said no surge at this time. Then about a week later (I now know I OV around CD 16, much later than I thought) I got the smiley face on the digi and a dark line on the IC. I would persevere and keep testing until you know for sure you are way past your OV timing. You never know, you might get another surge later than you think.
Looba, I am so sorry to hear that. Take some time for yourself. Big hugs.
Congratulations BezzyK!
AFM, still waiting for OV. Not going to start testing until CD13 I think.0 -
Slowlyfading - they are signs but also be warned that when you come off the pill you often get a lot of 'pregnancy' symptoms.0
