Sorry to hear that wendz - here's to being successful this month :)

I've been off the pill just over two weeks and I keep hoping to see af each day (which is strange, as I used to dread them before!) but haven't yet :( I know it's far too early for anything really, but I keep thinking maybe I am? But I know I'm being silly :o

Hey there. I came off microgynon in June and after the af I got after finishing the pill pack, saw af again after 27 days. I was pleased as I felt that it maybe meant that my cycle was back regularly straight away? Third af came after 26 days so again fingers crossed that everything is working normally down there...although of course I've no way of knowing for sure!

Really sorry about your CD1 wendz :( I'm on agnus castus, but this is the first month whether I'll really know if it's started doing anything so I'll let you know in case you consider it :)

Sounds like you're getting back to a normal cycle LisaJane :) Do you know roughly when you ov on a 27/26 day cycle?

Well at the mo I have just inputed it onto my pink pad app which calculates it out for me. We dtd this month on the predicted day of ovulation for a 26 and 28 day cycle (hopeful to catch day 27 inbetween???)

At the moment the main thing for me is to try and calm myself down a bit. I am thinking about it all the time at the mo and everywhere I look people are getting pregnant! Got to try and relax and keep remembering that 6 months is the average and that it could well be that we take longer than average to conceive!

You're not on your own :) I'm exactly the same, as I'm sure quite a few early days TTCers are on here. It suddenly becomes this massive part of your life, and you imagine being pregnant, telling family etc. I'm only on my 2nd month (only 1 af since stopping pill), so I think what we have on our side is blind optimism! Hold on to that & just enjoy the process (I'm talking ot myself as much as you at this point). I'm on CD9 today, so looking forward to some *ahem* quiet nights in during the next week or so. Going back to the optimism thing - if so many people around us are having babies, this pregnancy thing can't be just a myth ;)

Haven't read all the messages but just to say I was having cycles that were +/- 7 days so I took Angus castus and the month I started taking it my cycle shortened and became a regular 27 days. I stopped taking it after that 1 month and all seems to be ok still bar last month. Took it about 6 months ago I think..may be a coincidence but it worked for my irregular cycles xx

  • Think I may have missed my surge on the OPK's this month. Been using OPKs since CD8, had a line gradually getting darker on CD11 and CD12. Then yesterday (CD13) the line was faded and today there's nothing at all! So I'm assuming that my surge was probably late on CD12 with OV perhaps yesterday. I've had other OV signs and thankfully have been using fertility friend as well. They predicted my fertile days as CD12, 13 and 14 with OV on 15 (tomorrow) so have managed to get some BDing in other the last couple of days.

I think based on that I probably need to be updated to CD14 1DPO please. Thanks for doing the list Kellykins.

Has anybody else had cycles when they don't get a positive OPK? Last month was the 1st time I used them and had a very clear positive so was expecting it to be the same this month.
