Vote added. Can we keep this going? It may be interesting - it had fallen from view on page 4."Things are never so bad they can't be made worse" - Humphrey Bogart0

followed up my email with a call, they said they are reviewing such cases and will write to me soon with what they can do, but no promise of any "offer on rates" yet. Got to admit been with HL over 10years and they do offer a good service so cant compare how other customer service levels can compare.0

Finally got a response, offer of 0.25% for all the family! A success as its a better saving on the standard rate. they have said it can be changed at anytime subject to T&Cs and rate is exclusive to me only. Better than nothing as I have been content with HL services to date.0

Good to hear you got a response mutley74. Did they mention if they would cap the fees?0

HL reply
"I can confirm that a cap of £1million applies to each of the accounts mentioned. i.e the maximum charge in the SIPP would be 0.25% of £1 million = £2,500. "
what is the capped charge for 0.45% rate?0 -
anyone think they are better of under HL new charging system?
I have been charged on my ISA £16.60 which they tell me includes the £3.75 monthly fee as I hold many stocks (plus mix of funds). HL loyalty bonus was £7.36, meaning my ISA fee was £9.24 for March, which is approx. £120 per year! All I used to pay before was the ISA fee of £45pa.
Plus I have been charged similar for my SIPP and other accounts.
I guess if I decide to move to II or other broker I will be charged the moving fees.0 -
