Stolen photo

I tried the right click thing with auctiva and it made no difference, the photos could still be saved easily. I tried photoshark but couldn't get on with it, so now when I edit my photos in microsoft photo I just insert text with my username and make it slightly transparent. It doesn't stop someone taking the photo but at least it makes it more difficult.0

Hi
An update - Ebay have now removed the listing!! HOORAY, but - there are now 2 more listings using my photo! These are not from the same woman as before but both these 2 new listings are from a powerseller! (who should know better)
Thay have changed the background, but they are clearly mine. This is really p****ng me off now! It's ignorant. I have reported both listings and emailed the powerseller and advised him to remove my photo, or to make me an offer to use them!

If you 'right-click' on any of my listing photos on Ebay, listed via Auctiva.com, it will NOT ALLOW you to save the photos!!!
This is FACT - go and try it for yourself. Find a listing using auctiva - easy to spot - provided that they have the 'right-click block' enabled it will not allow you to save/copy the photo.
right clicking isn't the only way to steal someone's images, simply clicking the View menu within your browser and selecting Page Source will allow someone access to everything in your listing.0 -
how about doing a screen dump and then cropping and saving too???:heartpuls Number 1 Aunty Gok fan :heartpuls0

there's many ways!
alot of the javascripts which disable right clicks, can be disabled themselves, many by holding down the Alt key before right clicking!0 -

And you can use print screen, paste into paint and then crop out the image and re-save it as your own.
Basically, there is no way to copy-proof images, if somebody wants it they can take it.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
As a previous post.
I use Irfanview and stick my ebay id across the image I took a few times.
Everybody can use the image but they have to deface it to remove my id.
Anyone that uses it can see its mine.
You can add copyright signs too.
Saves any confusion.0 -
go to the actual listing on ebay and at the bottom of it are some options including one to report it..i used that and they removed the listing that had copied my photo within a day.Bumping up! Someones stolen my pictures- how do I report them please?TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0
