  • I did the boil and shred up option the other day, then fried chorizo, onion and sweet potato, stirred in rice, the shredded chicken, smoked paprika and the boiling stock and gently cooked through. Was delicious!

Dust the wings with seasoned flour and cook in the oven for about 20 minutes. Then melt some butter in a large frying pan, add the wings, cook for a couple of mins, then add a large glug of cider vinegar and a splash of worcester sauce (and a dash of tobasco if you like them a bit spicier), turn the wings to coat them, cook for about 5 mins and serve.

  • Our local Sainsbury's almost every other week give away those large bottles of sauce from the meat counter. I got two last week & I'm not sure what to do with them. They are sticky barbecue marinade & lemon & herb.

Should they be in the fridge? (they are unopened) & they have no expiry date on them. Apart from chicken & ribs I'm stuck for ideas.
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
