thanks YB. just need to decide whether to sacrifice an account, and if so, whether to chance a further Yorkshire Bank account, or go for a Co-op account. if this is around long enough, i could transfer a YB account across to Co-op once theyve paid the £150 out:T0

WOW.
Wonder whether you can get the TCB money if you had their switch bonus before. Only one way to find out, and nothing to lose!
Stupid clause:• Cashback will only be paid to customers who take out the product and transfer to it as their main account.
What is "transfer to it as their main account"? Apart from a wooly get-out clause?
Such an ethical offer......0 -

Thanks for this!
I applied for an account with them last week and agreed a switch date for 26th. Then I saw this, my heart sank. Phoned them and they said it would be too complicated to cancel the switch, they will put £42 into my account by end of this weekYou will only fail to learn if you do not learn from failing.

The offer's poorly written. It states you need to apply for the "standard current account", yet stipulates a minimum monthly funding requirement of £800...despite this only being required for the Plus current account.
No wonder they have so much bad press on here!0 -
