The bit where I said:

I have just used the chat facility on their website and 'Harry' has indeed confirmed that delivery is only free on orders over £35.
I asked him why their homepage said something different and he said "We are still updating the website."

So even their representative said that free delivery only applies to orders over £35.

I probably won't be buying from them, but it makes me no less able to offer factual information.

Thats not even slightly true. I bought products from the below companies when searching for the right GU10. Which goes to show just how difficult it is. Only one of the companies below would i trust and you will find nothing but praise for them on this board from numerous different people.

To be fair to them the website states UP TO 30 YEARS. For somewhere like a closet or a room that doesnt have the light on that often that is quite feasible.

Is it really? If you installed an LED Light and never ever used it, then 30 years later turned it on, would it work?

How do they know this? Don't LED's start losing brightness from the very start?

I have a very hard time believing any of the quoted lifespan figures. The ones i bought say 25,000 hours, which is half the 50,000 hours quoted by lightrabbit. But even then they should last about 9 or 10 years and i'm even sceptical about that.

Me mates a sparky who is into LEDS and he gives 5 year warrantys and viewing other websites selling LEDs they all claim over and above 30k hours so why should we not believe this website??

Weird reply. Why the aggression? You obviously missed my point, so don't worry about it.

I've read a lot about LED Lifespan and no one seems to have a proper answer, although there are some respected companies suggesting i should be wary of quoted lifespan figures, especially the 40 to 50k figures which seems to be utter tosh.

I don't understand how an electrician is going to know how long an LED will last unless he's testing them all? So how does he test the lifespan of the LED's he sells?

Retailers and manufacturers would never give misleading figures would they?
