LightRabbit.co.uk - says Free Delivery - Lying

Options
I was looking to order some stuff for a LED lighting set up - googled and found lightrabbit.co.uk who advertise "free Delivery on Every Order" - https://www.lightrabbit.co.uk - down the left hand side with a yellow truck icon

And their delivery information page says "Free Delivery on orders - Large or Small"
http://www.lightrabbit.co.uk/delivery-information

Until you look at the small print - only on orders over £35

How did you decide it was "free delivery" that was wrong?

Could it possibly be that "only orders over £35" is the bit that's wrong?

Could just be a simple mistake, rather than a lie, couldn't it?

    Edited to add:
I have just used the chat facility on their website and 'Harry' has indeed confirmed that delivery is only free on orders over £35.
I asked him why their homepage said something different and he said "We are still updating the website."

Have you noticed they are based in Jersey?
  • I guess they expect people to burrow into the small print for illumination.......

Lightrabbit.co.uk are a disgrace. Their home page says in three different places that delivery is free on all orders.

I have rated (badly) and commented about the website on Web of Trust.

    Have to agree with OP.

They claim on homepage to be "The UKs No1 LED Light Bulbs Supplier" but this isn't justified anywhere. And "Free delivery on all orders" is deliberately misleading, and a lie.

Can rabbits hang their head in shame? Probably not but they can just sit there looking a bit dumb.
  • I just did a mock-up order for 1 bayonet bulb which was about £15. I applied the voucher code "saber15" which gave me 15% off, and the delivery was free. I think it's time to delete this libellous thread. Also, I have used them a few times. My house it fully LED bulbed. I had a few faulty bulbs from them and they instantly replaced them, without wanting the dodgy ones back. Top customer service.
  • I just spent £28 on the site and I didn't get charged for delivery. Are you sure you selected a UK address? I have bought from them before and never been charged for delivery.

Just had a look on WOT and Coopdivi looks like a crank. He hasn't a nice word to say about any site - have a look!
