  • I've got a blusher that's nearly UU, but I can't afford to replace it right now (I have a Boots gift card that would cover it but would rather spend that on hair dye as roots are starting to look awful). Anyone got any tips to make it last longer? It's a Revlon powder blush and the only bits left are in the corners of the pan. Can I take the bits out and mix them with anything to make a cream blush or something?

    welcome newbies.

Valm - I put the frangipani oil in the bath whilst I am running it and it is ready to use when I get out. I don't use it after a shower as I would always forget to heat it.

cakeadoodle - I remove my makeup long before bedtime when I am staying in and then when I go to bed all I need to do is clean my teeth.

I have been into Boots today and came out with just toothpaste and deodorant for DH, I didn't even have the desire to look at anything else.

Well thank you once again, it is simply amazing, with the sun showing up all the gorgeous Holo goodness this morning it just made me smile.

I have been a little naughty and ordered 3 new polishes from Sally Magpies (2 are in the sale, so that makes it OK - right:rotfl:)

Arden 8 hr hand cream 30ml WBA love this
Champneys day cream 40ml Wnba so happy this has finally gone. Was no better than Nivea
Nivea serum 1.5ml felt more like a moisturiser or primer, wnba
Hand cream 3ml wnba v sticky
S and g face mask 125ml wmba, have noticed that in the new packaging it is 100ml which I think is cheeky and puts me off repurchasing!
Lush bath jelly wnba don't really like lush products
Elemis tranquil touch bath soak 50ml like this but v expensive! Would consider if on a g deal
Clarins face melt 50ml x 2 WBA this is lovely
"" mask peel 5ml wnba v strange texture
    "" hydra quench 5ml wnba
Cath kidston bluebell shower gel 50ml. WNBA, although will look out for bluebells scents in future.
    Lancôme serum 5ml. WNBA.
Clarins toner iris 10ml WBA loved this, and will be keeping eye out for deals for future.
Estee Lauder night concentrate 7ml. Unsure if this did anything?!
Molton Brown Ylang ylang shower gel 50ml. WNBA (far too expensive!) but liked the scent and will be looking out for ylang ylang scents.
Natural Collection vanilla bath foam. 200ml. WNBA no scent and just feels cheap.
La vie est belle 1.5ml. WDBA absolutely loved it!
Protect and Perfect day 10ml. Ok, have some more in stash aswell...
Avon primer 30ml. God I thought this would never end!

    Clarins iris toning lotion 10ml
    "" wake up booster ""
    "" hydra quench cream 5ml
"" gentle foaming cleanser "" all free from lovely man at the counter. Just tried the toner and it's gorgeous!
Victor and Rolf flower bomb 1.5ml freebie
You discovery box - Glamglow youth mud 15ml, pixi primer 12ml and Charles Worthington sachet £6.95.
On testing the glamglow was rather amazed by the results, and so took advantage of a code offer and got 12 sachets of glamglow masks for £13 which I don't feel is too bad really.
    Loccitane hand cream x3 free
S and g Make up set £12, and had two of my HG products, the motherpucker stick and pink blush, which together would be £7 more than a set with 6 lip pans, eyeshadows, mascara and a bronzer, so felt it had to be done!
Stila convertible colour pallette, on sale for £9.50. Have wanted this since before Christmas, and when I saw it was half price I grabbed it. Love the highlighting shade, but need to use the other shades more to see how much I love them.
And then 2 QVC orders (Slaps hand). Bought the Laura Geller TSV, as I wanted to try the Balance n Brighten as my Mac StudioFix is radically decreasing. Love the BnB, the spackle is ok but don't think I wnba, the blush is too bright for me, but a decent product, and there is a lip product which is a bit...old for me? It's beige?! And there's an eye brush which is ok, and a kabuki brush which I actually really like. But the thing I really love is the eye pallette, oh it's lovely! I can apply a decent smoky eye, before I've had a coffee on my & 7oclock bus to work. Reckon the kit was worth it for the pallette and the BnB tbh. This was £17.93 this month and £12.98 for the following two months.
And then today I bought the Alpha H set. 200Ml liquid Gold, 15ml eye complex and 200ml balancing cleanser. Have been wanting to try the liquid gold as my skin is appalling at the moment (I tried the oil cleansing method and my skin has really not appreciated it!!). It was £37 for the liquid gold, or £31.56 for the entire set, so really I'm saving money (ahh, denial!).

I'm getting quite good at taking it downstairs and popping it into a measuring jug full of hot water from the kettle whilst I make sandwiches and have breakfast before my shower.

I'm glad you like the Laura Geller products. I have quite a collection of her eyeshadows and blushers. I too love BnB and Spackle (though I note you don't really like the latter). I've only ever owned one of her lipsticks but am not a big fan of it.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Figs and Rouge lip balm - liked this WMBA. It was a tainted lip balm, and I liked the shade of the taint.

Simple shampoo - this will actually be finished tomorrow. It was a pretty generic shampoo, nothing special.
