Hi everyone, hope you're all having a nice weekend! Went to the National Wedding show yesterday at Olympia and ended up with a whole bunch of freebies; Essie Nail Polish in Naughty Nautical, mini 7ml size of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, couple of dove hair treatment moisturiser things, mini Osis hairspray, couple of San Tropez gradual tanner tubes among other things! Was quite surprised with how generous some of the gift bags were. Not really declaring them as IN's as a) I didn't pay for them and b) I will probably end up giving most of them away to my friends!

I was about to apply my Rimmel wake me up foundation this morning and was rushing and dropped the glass bottle in the sink. It smashed but stayed together and didn't damage the sink. So I have had to bin that, it had about 1/3 left. WNBA, it was OK but very shiny which just seemed to highlight flaws rather than cover them.

Hey, I am new to the forums and glad to see this thread! :) I am always terrible when it comes to toiletries and make up shopping and overspend on things I don't need or already have and have forgotton I bought!!

Hi & welcome, i am very much the same and now dutifully working through my relics in the stash in between the nicer items so as to save as much money as possible...

    2 More UU's from me
Medicated Shampoo 300ml WBA when the dandruff rears its ugly head.

Schwarztoph yogurt & coconut conditioner WBA if i see this in £land its always a bonus, very thick and feels more expensive to use than it is.

4 Ins to report although all freebies...

    Salura Derma spray
    Salcura zeoderm moisturiser samples X3

looking forward to trying these out on my psoriasis when it flares next.

Hope everyones wedding preps are going well and everyone who was under the weather is now feeling better.

    Happy Bubbles
  • 2 more UU's of tester moisturisers from garnier! No idea how I've ended up with so many!
Also UU a boots own acetone free nail polish remover :) Replaced with my other one from the stash.

That's all my testers and small products gone so just big products left. Feel like it might take me all year to get through my biggest groups (body lotion, nail polish, perfume, eyeshadow) but hoping to time my needing more with Christmas and January sales :P

Welcome Summer69. I can't offer any suggestions on the make up, I'm afraid as I'm a non user apart from lippy, though I gave a freebie of a Max Factor Mousse Foundation to a friend and she has absolutely raved about it. I liked the fact that it was in a pot so every scrap could be used. Pots are less likely to break as well, how ruddy annoying dolly84.

As all who know me on here know, I am a MASSIVE fan of the Aldi Lacura range. Have yet to be disappointed. The weather here was really wild, almost too dangerous to cycle, so I will hope that my foot cream on this week's Aldi Specialbuys is still there in the morning and the wind/rain is not too bad .

I called into Aldi for a few things this afternoon, I looked at the hand and foot creams and the face oil, they had quite a lot of each, but I did not need anything so put it back:money: I hope that the weather is better for you tomorrow and that they have plenty of stock.

Wondercollie - welcome back, pleased that you enjoyed Spain.

I've been a little quiet recently as I've been waiting for some UUs, which I am now able to report! :j :j

Kempinski Shampoo 40ml - freebie from hotel last year. I have others which I'm working my way through!
Kempinski Snow Gardenia Conditioner 40ml - freebie from the same hotel. This was a better conditioner than the other one I threw out last week. It was ok, but I think this was my last tube.
REN Neroli & Grapefruit body wash 25ml - another hotel room snaffle. It was nice, but I've since looked at it buying it and decided it wasn't worth the price. WNBA, but wouldn't say no if someone was to buy it for me!

Had a lovely couple of days in London with DH, but this means that I have a couple of ins. I need to unpack properly then I'll declare them. :o
    Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared

Forgive me people for I have bought...

2 INS. I don't even know why I went into Boots. There was NOTHING I needed!!

Botanics Conditioning Body lotion 200ml £0.80 (It was sat on the clearance shelf)
And a free sample of Clinique Even Better Foundation

Why? I have a vat of body lotion, but it was a good deal so.. :Rolls Eyes:

PS can the doublebase gel go off? It seems to have an expiry date on it but can I ignore this?
  • no UUs to report her but will add read gone girl and while it was a good story and not what i would normally have read i did think the couple deserved each other as they were both each twisted as each other. liked the way it was written and it certainly kept me guessing.
