minerva_windsong - wonderful news too.
I have another 2 UU's (at last)
Ren Moisturiser -WNBA. Haven't enjoyed using any of the Ren products. Think I have a facial scrub still to use.
Liz Earle Superskin Moisturiser 15mls - WMBA - liked it and it smelled nice. Still doesn't beat PCMC.
Also have another splutterer - Balance Me Facial Cleanser. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
I'ts lovely to hear about people's wedding plans. Me & DH are celebrating our 19th anniversary on Tuesday, we had a registry office do and a meal out afterwards, I didn't want a big party and in fact I have never had one single party for me in my whole life, not even a birthday party when I was very young and I think this is why I didn't have one, I've never been the centre of attention.
I have two uu
Body Shop Coconut Body Butter 200ml - WBA.
Lush Dream Cream - this is the only thing I buy from Lush and I get it for DD's eczema, it works very well. Have replaced it with a Steamcream which is similar and I hope works as well.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Congrats on the forthcoming weddings from me too.:j
OH and I have our anniversary on Tuesday too 33 years, the time has gone so quickly. I have had two weddings, both very small at my insistence! Like you Dolly I have never had parties either, the nearest thing for me was a family lunch (about 20 of us) for my 60th birthday. I am not anti-social or shy, but have never been a party person:D Of the 5 of us, only my Sis has ever been keen to have them.
Lovely and sunny here, have a good and no buying weekend everyone:rotfl:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
I got a small Lush gift set as a Xmas present but only have the cardboard box now, not the original Lush wrapping. It contained a pot of Dream Cream and also a bar of soap. I THINK it's Snow Cake but not 100% sure so thought I'd ask the experts on here. It's a white/milky colour with a sort of gold dusting. Is it Snow Cake and is it for use in the bath/shower or as hand soap. Not really sure I like the smell but might be better in use.
Also, I know some Lush stuff goes off. Is this likely to?3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Its fine doesn’t have to be LUSH!I love a good scrub, the coarser the better, my skin isn’t that bad I just like the feeling that it’s really doing stuff. I hate those scrubs where it’s like a gel with a few grains of sand in.
My favourite scrubs are by Soap and Glory. Particularly I like Sugar Crush which was in their original Spa range. I've also tried all the others (with maybe the exception of Scrub Em and Leave) and have liked them all. All of them except Sugar Crush are quite dry in texture. Sugar Crush is quite oily but smells really zesty.
You could also make your own scrub by mixing instant coffee (not finely ground) with baby oil. HTH.
So no more UUs today. No INs this week either (not that I should have cause to buy anything after just having my birthday) however I am going to have to buy cotton wool pads this week (probably pick up from ASDA later) and my Laura Geller Balance N Brighten is getting very very low. Whilst using the Laura Mercier moisturiser this week I've only had to apply BnB to my nose to hide the redness there which is helping eek it out but the pan hole in the middle of my BnB is getting bigger each day. I was looking at it on Ebay but have decided I will wait until pay day and then order it from QVC as the colours don't look brilliant on the Ebay ones and I don't want to take a chance of buying one and not getting on with it. At least with QVC I can return it if this is the case.
Does anyone know if Boots are still giving out the Money off Fragrance Vouchers at the moment? Emma had one last week and mistakenly threw it out. She now wants to buy some fragrance for a friend's birthday gift so was hoping to pop into Boots spend a fiver and get another voucher. She actually has £5. worth of Advantage Points so wouldn't be spending. She's getting quite savvy lately - I'm proud. She went into a Morrisons local last night and asked if she could buy a sachet of drinking chocolate and make it up there and then from the Costa machine using their free hot water. They let her which I'm surprised at!
OT I have just finished an amazing book. Has anyone else read "Gone Girl"?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Not that I'm enabling but if anyone is a particular fan of Burts Bees lip balm tins there's an offer on the Grabbit board to get one of these free plus a free hand cream with a purchase over £4. and free delivery.
I went on there and put the body lotion in my basket but it was pulling the wrong price in (the price of 2 x body lotion) so I've closed the page and walked away.
Again, why am I looking when I a) really don't need any more lip balm and b) don't seem to like much of the range anyway. *deep sigh* there is no hope for me.
OT again have been googling Gone Girl and see that it's been made into a film due for release in October. Apparently the ending has been totally rewritten. Huff!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I had Gone Girl as an audio book rather than a reader, and I really enjoyed it. I like to listen to books or podcasts when I'm working, it relieves the monotony
After that I read the other two Gillian Flynn books I could find for my ereader and I have to say, they disappointed somewhat. Not bad books but not in the same league as GG. I can't see how the ending could be changed and keep its integrity!
P&C starting to make its way down the bottle. I slapped it on my hand and got enough out to cleanse last night. Can't comment on this morning as I am still in bedGetting up now though, honest! Too many crosswords this morning…

2 more UUd to report
Repurposed the other Citrus Mint Shower gel by Organic Surge by adding it to my laundry gel. It makes it smell really fresh. WNBA cos it's irritating to my skin and very expensive as a laundry gel lol!
UU - Loreal Excellence Cream hair dye kit in Blond Clair Beige - WBA my hair looks a bit more natural now and not brassy so I'm very pleased with this!Decluttering 2015: 2162/20150 -
VALM - I've never heard of Gone Girl, I will look it up, it's not a romance is it? I hate romantic novels and films come to think of it. I read Winter Ghosts by Kate Mosse recently and am about to read it again, loved it, real life history and fiction - funnily enough this did lean ever so slightly to romance but still a good book.
Have been into town this afternoon and still no toiletry related ins.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Oh dear, I'm very tempted to seek these out now. I absolutely looooooove cinnamon! :heart2:nillionaire wrote: »
Can anyone give me reviews on :
1) Marilyn hair treatment- Fancy it to lighten my blonde hair as obviously can no longer dye it Its quite nice but it does not lighten my hair.
2)BIG sea salt shampoo (also the sea salt spray if any of you have used it?) Big shampoo is okay, but for me who has wavy hair it volumises it too much and can make it frizzy. You can make your own sea spray there are plenty of sites that will tell you how and If you real the ingredients list it is basically salt water with a few things added.
3) Black stockings (tinted body bar thing) Not tried but I do have the lighter one and I think they are expensive for what they are. There are review on the lush site.
4) Which of their body scrubs is your fave? Rub, Rub, Rub is good. Sugar scrub is okay but it goes very quickly so I find breaking it up and using a smaller piece a better way of using it. I loved their sandy santa at Christmas a conbination of a solid sugar scrub with oils if that makes any sense but they no longer do this. I have used buffy body butter which is a moisturiser and scrub combined. It does last well as long as you don't over do it, I scrub it over skin once and then massage it in ( hope that makes sense).
I want my money to be invested wisely so I thought I'd ask the expertsnoelphobic wrote: »I got a small Lush gift set as a Xmas present but only have the cardboard box now, not the original Lush wrapping. The good bit:
UU's
Bath melt in orchid rain WBNA from a small American company and it was nice but nothing special.
HM Chunky monkey bath tab WNBA sank to the bottom of the bath and slowly, sort of fizzed away, very little scent.
HM Nights in white satin bath tab WNBA this one is designed to foam which it did but there was no scent that I could detect.
Please forgive me as I have been shopping.
INS
From Lush
3 Lord of misrule bath ballistics, one of my favourite that were a seasonal release so I won't get them again, such a shame.
Mumkin bubble bar, I am just using last years so thought I would replace.
Golden egg melt/ ballistic. I wanted it, I am not a fan of the honey I washed the kids fragrance but I loved the idea of a ballisitc encased with a bath melt.
Bunch of Carrots (3 carrot shaped reusable bubble bars) I don't tend to buy the reusable bubble bars as I find the bubble don't last very well but for £5.95 for 150g of product, and the scent I thought this was one of the better value items.
Brightside bubble bar one of my favourites I love the scent of this, yes I may have another couple of them from last year but I waqnted to compare them.
I did not need any of the above but I wanted it and even the sales lady said she thought I was restrained.
6 lancome items from a GWP from boots, again I really did not think I needed it but for some strange reason I could not resist. I don't think there is much hope for me.0
