  • I can confirm that the scrubby bath puffy lilies(!) are 45p in Bodycare -- we popped in today and I bought another two as I was thinking that I'd never seen brown ones anywhere else so I thought I'd get some while I could. They last really well though, ours has been going since we got back from honeymoon, so early November. The 'handle' did unravel but I just plaited it back together and bob's yer uncle :)

The only other thing I bought was pocket tissue packs, not bad as we were in two big supermarkets too. I'm either well on the road to recovery or I'm due a massive fall off the wagon :o

A little shopping treat for me yesterday, went to the big (well big for around here) town, went without OH so spent lots of time just browsing.

    Resulting IN's are

    15ml M&S very oldies range eye cream:rotfl:

250ml BS Ginger Shampoo, a little:( as I had graduated in shampoo, but an itchy scalp has resulted in a few purchases, not all very successful!

I have placed an MUA order for a primer and a few items of make up, (make up not counted in totals as I do not hoard it and don't have very much).

Thank you for all your help regarding the primer ladies:A

  • DD has shared the cold she had last week and I am feeling like I have been recently dug up. Luckily I am not ill often as I must be miserable to be around.

    UU

50ml Gielly Green shower gel - WNBA fragrance free and not very bubbly - I like a scent and lather.

Sure max protection cream deo - WBA HG.

    Ins

30g L'Occitane shea hand cream - my hands are looking a little the worse for wear and I wanted to take better care of them - I cant bear most hand creams but dont mind this one.
This came with a sample pack free gift - 8 ins
    No more buying toiletries

    Get well soon moneyless mac

    UU:

    36. M&S Magnolia Moisture Rich Foaming Bath Cream 75ml - WDNBA, this was gifted and I hated the scent! Repurposed as shower gel. Unfortunately I still have another 3 items from the set to get through :(

  • UU - Gem Spa Amethyst Body Lotion - might buy again as it worked nicely and wasn't sticky. I liked the clear bottle and the way the lotion went down the sides cleanly so I could see exactly how much was left. When it got to the bottom it was a bit tricky to get the last bit out though.

anyway used the last of the hot oil treatments - maybe buy again but gonna focus on using the deep conditioners in the stash
also the mint chocolate body butter wash gone - yeah would buy again, i have a vanilla one in the stash, and using them with exfoliating gloves made my skin feel soft
oh just seen in the stash list i have included bubble bath - some of these have been used up but prob just as many bought as i always grab a couple when im in the supermarket as hate running out and they will get used, think in the march thread when its started i wont count these

This is going to sound weird but.....I have a irrational fear of bath lillys!

I think it comes from a housemate having one which was rank and had spiders living in it ( I like spiders ) but it proper creeped me out. They send my ocd into over drive :|
    x

Ha ha! I fear tomatoes just because the top bits looks like a spider!

I give my bath lillies (never heard that before) to a Muslim friend as she uses them under her hijab.

    I have one UU

    7) Nivea 24 Hour roll-on - WNBA as it was utter rubbish. I am not a sweaty person, but could not use this in the summer as it did nothing.

  • UU #33: Avene Hydrance Optimale Riche Hydrating Cream 40ml; WBA, I have been using this as a night cream and it is lovely and hydrating without being greasy. Sad it's done. I have gone back to my last tube of Garnier Moisture Match (the pink one for very dry skin) as a replacement.
  • Hello again,

Bath puffy thingys appear to have caused quite a discussion :rotfl:who'd've thought? I like them personally. I make sure they're well rinsed though or they get black bits under the ribbon/rope. Was worried about putting them in the washing machine for fear of leftover soap/shower gel causing bubbles of doom coming out of the washing machine and all over the kitchen floor!! Yes. Yes I'm a drama llama.

I've been trying (and failing) to work out how they help with a hijab? Do they help keep it weighted so it doesn't blow around too much or something?

    And.. onto the UUs!!

I have 3 UUs to report this time,

Simple Kind to skin replenishing rich moisturiser 125ml WBA - not quite a HG, but definitely a fail-safe and cheap and cheerful. I have lots of others to get through first though. I've replaced it with Balance Me Moisture Rich face cream.

Hotel Chocolat Jevenate repose EDP Sample - WNBA, This was a bit odd and I can't get over Chocolate places doing perfume, it's all a bit wrong! :p Although I did like the packaging, you pull out a tab then "squirt" the card envelope, and it squirts like a proper perfume, and theres enough for a couple of squirts so in theory, you could put the tab back and use another time.

and Johnson and Johnsons Cotton Buds 100 - WDBA got a couple of 200s in the stash.
