I didn't know you could put bath lillies in the washing machine! *feels like an idiot now* Will definitely give mine a spin tomorrow then.

ETA: I am another one who is being driven nuts by Peaches & Clean. I'm storing it upside down to try and make transferring it to a bigger pot easier (when I can get one), but there is still a good chunk of it that is not moving from the bottom of the bottle no matter how hard I whack it!

  • I didn't even know what a bath lily was, despite having one in my bathroom :o They're called scrubby puffs in my house! I wash mine in the machine once a week when I do my shower curtains and bath mat. My other MSE "hat" is as a Flylady :)

I buy mine from Bodycare, just because they're 45p (I think) and they do a dark brown colour which matches my towels and flooring :o They don't come equipped with suckers, but I had an old plastic hook on a sucker which was bought from Lakeland to hang Christmas wreaths on glass doors so I repurposed that for scrubby puff and shower comb storage.

I thought MUA were an independent brand? I buy stuff directly from them they normally have great sales and just the other week I got a few different primers to try out from them.

Maybe they are, could be that it's a brand exclusive to Superdrug stores. I'm fairly sure they're cruelty free anyway, I think they are either BUAV approved or in the process of being approved...

Dont accidently tumble dry them like I did - they melt to a lump of plastic!

I've had an email from a tester company asking my thought on a shower gel that's been sent out. Well that was the first I knew to expect something but it's not arrived yet :( don't know whether contact them and let them know or else hold on and hope it turns up?:o

  • Maybe if we all email S&G they'll put Peaches & Clean in more sensible packaging??

This is going to sound weird but.....I have a irrational fear of bath lillys!

I think it comes from a housemate having one which was rank and had spiders living in it ( I like spiders ) but it proper creeped me out. They send my ocd into over drive :|

sjprmc01 - I think MUA are a part of Superdrug, my neighbour's daughter works there and she told me it was when I was in their with DD looking at the makeup once.

Wow! You've looked after that well!

Any I get in gift sets, get used for 2 showers tops then binned, or don't even make it that far.... It's such a waste I should stock them up and distribute them between you lot instead :P lol

Nails yesterday ended up being ciate chinchilla - pale purpley bluey grey lovelyness with revlon satin sheets over ring finger and thumb.
I love my ciate advent calender... BUT I am totally unimpressed with the nail varnishes so far... they don't seem to last very long :/ and haven't been the easiest to apply don't think I'll be buying any full size!
