12/ house of holland scrub. Vile strong citrus smelling stuff that turns your skin bright yellow till washed off. It is however really 'scrubby '

WNBA I don't like it but think it was a one off thing in boots for Xmas 2012 anyways

Body Shop bath lilly - this seemed to unravel quicker than usual, have replaced it with another one of theirs.
Well done on having no ins so far this month dolly84! 6k7t7ux.gif Your post has just reminded me that I threw away a bath lily last week too which I forgot to declare. It was an ancient freebie which I only started using in December and it didn't last very long to be honest. The plastic meshing started to perish so I was finding small bits of netting all over me when I was applying body lotion. It will be replaced with a new one from one of the Champneys sets I bought last month in the Boots sale.

I'm off to have a nice long shower, although I'm not hopeful of any use ups as there still seems to be no end in sight to the shampoo and conditioner on my Project Pan list............ 6tmwip.gif
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/
  • just a suggestion would it be wise to keep a few of the mini sized products back for holiday season especially if you are flying and nee small products and containers to help with space when packing

Definately a great suggestion :) sometimes do save minis for my travels but not likely to be going on hols this year :(

I found that the primer stops the liquid or mineral sitting in the lines and wrinkles, and makes me look more dewy IYKWIM:)

    Fair enough ;)

Superdrug are BUAV approved and do a primer. :T

MUA is also BUAV approved (it's a Superdrug brand isn't it?) and they do a couple of primers for around a fiver each. I haven't tried any but am planning on doing so soon :)

3 ins for me as just had a box of Garnier shampoo, conditioner and hair oil in the post,i filled in a survey(don,t ask where as I forget)to trial a new range and they actually sent me full size bottles :)

Lucky you. Mind you, it makes sense for a company to send full sizes to trial so you can see how it performs over a number of weeks. Bravo Garnier.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • A few UU's from the weekend

17 Doll'd Up mascara -WNBA didn't go on right and ended up all clumpy, thank goodness it's done now!

Philosophy Vanilla Cake Mix Shower Gel - WDBA lovely scent and it did make me feel very clean after using. This was a birthday pressie though, and I don't know if I can justify the price tag for Philosophy. At least I still have 3 other Philosophy shower gels to get through though :)

Sure Black Diamond Deodorant - WMBA, it did the job. But right now I prefer the Sure and Dove solid deodorants to the spray ones, just trying to use them all up now to get rid of them!

Dentyl PH Cherry Mouthwash - WDBA, love this so much! But always seems so expensive for what it is. Going to back to using whatever mouthwash my mum buys for the bathroom from now on, no need in me buying my own really, bit of a waste of money.

    And updated FEB PP list

[STRIKE]1. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion +[/STRIKE] replaced with No7 Day&Night Creams
[STRIKE]2. Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate Shower Gel[/STRIKE] replaced with Philosophy Vanilla Cake Mix
[STRIKE]3. Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural: Medium[/STRIKE] replaced with another
    4. S&G Butter Yourself
    5. Miss Dior Perfume
[STRIKE]6. Sure Black Diamond Deodorant[/STRIKE] replaced with Dove Go Fresh
[STRIKE]7. Clinique All About Eyes[/STRIKE] replaced with S&G Puffy Eye
[STRIKE]8. Lush Spaced Out Bath Bomb[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]9. Lush Candy Mountain Bubble Bar[/STRIKE]
    10. Lush Angels Delight Soap

I'm almost there!! 3 items left to go, almost finished the Dior perfume, and the Butter Yourself. But the Angels Delight soap seems to be never ending! I will get there eventually though!

I thought MUA were an independent brand? I buy stuff directly from them they normally have great sales and just the other week I got a few different primers to try out from them.

Gosh, I know that feeling well. :p I thought my skin wasn't looking too bad one day, but then I caught sight of myself in a mirror in a shop and was really upset when I saw how red and blotchy it was. I haven't tried the green correction cover ups yet and when I wear foundation it just seems to stick to the dry bits. My skin always seems worse when I've had a shower.
I was thinking of asking, but I assumed they would just try and fob me off.

    l:

I have the same problems with make up when my skin is at its worst, which is just when being able to wear make up would help the most. I also find my skin can be really sore after a shower, just being out in the rain can also aggravate it. It's more spotty than dry at the moment.

I would definitely ask for a referral. If I'm honest I didn't find any long term solutions when I was under a dermatologist but that doesn't mean you won't.
