  • 1 more UU. Hydraluron – WBA. I've had a few tubes of this, and love it, but I am holding off until I use up my other serums.
    No more goo hoarding!

  • It seems to have taken me a long time this month but I finally have some uu's to report

    M&S Sparkling verbena shower gel - wmba, bought these with a gift card on special offer. They are ok but I wouldn't be in a hurry to buy again.

    Frizz Ease shampoo - wba, quite nice shampoo. I have 2 more in the stash as I always seem to buy shampoo on offer.

    Sure deodorant - wba, again I seem to have loads of deodorant so won't be buying any soon but this was quite nice.

    I'd be tempted to put a scrubby puff in the washing machine once in a while, though I'm not keen on them anyway.

    I love my puffs. Shower gel seems to go a lot further with them.

    I was getting all excited at the thought of puffs with suction caps on. Then I remembered that my shower caddy has hooks on the bottom. I use one for my puff and the other one for a comb. Incidentally, if anyone has problems with shower caddies going rusty I would recommend the one I got. It was expensive (around £50!) but I've had it for ages and it hasn't gone rusty. Previously I would have been lucky if I had one for a couple of weeks before it went rusty. It's also free standing - stands on the ledge in the corner ifywim - so you can take it out to clean it and/or the shower.

    My caddy has hooks on the bottom as well, that's where I hang my puffy thing :)

    Ironically, that's why I started using the ones I had. However, I suspect my shower gel collection is unlikely to run out before I reach pensionable age with or without a body puff! :rotfl:
    Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/
  • I have a very important OUT to declare (important to me anyway!). I've finally FINALLY finished my bottle of MAC Strobe cream. After some months of using every day despite hating it, I refused to give up and now it's all gone. :j:j:j

    I can safely say this isn't a product I will ever try AGAIN. It was sold to me as part of my wedding makeup 5 years ago by an enthusiastic saleswoman who told me 'you'll never use another moisturiser again'. It does an ok job of moisturising but for the price I expect much better. It gives your skin a shiny sheen which unfortunately meant I had a shiny forehead in my wedding photos :mad::mad::mad:. But never mind, its gone!

    I feel like celebrating :D

    On the subject of bath puffs (I've never called them lillies either Fizzwhizz!) I have one that I've never used from a body shop set. Maybe I'll start using it.

    Strobe cream is meant to be an illuminator and at a push a primer, not a moisturiser! Some of the Mac SA's really have no idea what they're talking about. The only place I've found helpful Mac employees is at the Harrods counter. Not that I frequent Harrods, but when I was at uni in London, it was nice to take some time out and wander round the store. Oh and they had Krispy Kreme before anywhere else.

    Have another UU to declare:

    Missha Time Wrinkle Repair Serum sample sachet - got this as a freebie when I bought some Missha products from ebay (probably the BB cream). It was ok but I prefer my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair.
    Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £
    LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000
    Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 2017

    I've had an email from a tester company asking my thought on a shower gel that's been sent out. Well that was the first I knew to expect something but it's not arrived yet :( don't know whether contact them and let them know or else hold on and hope it turns up?:o

    I'd contact them.

    Maybe if we all email S&G they'll put Peaches & Clean in more sensible packaging??

    Yes, you all should. Companies won't know about the annoyance caused re: packaging if you don't.

    This is going to sound weird but.....I have a irrational fear of bath lillys!

    I think it comes from a housemate having one which was rank and had spiders living in it ( I like spiders ) but it proper creeped me out. They send my ocd into over drive :|

    Ooh. I must admit that I tend to renew these every three months or so.

    3 UUs to declare:-

    Lush Melting Snowman bath melt. Lovely product. Hope they rerelease it next year.

    Burts Bees Milk and Honey body lotion (PP list). This was lovely. I'd probably look to buy it again if any special offers come on.

    Origins Plantscription eye cream. Want to replace this once I have finished all my eye creams and I've saved the rest of the money to get it.

  • You guys are making me excited to get round to my S&G Peaches and Clean face wash! Unfortunately I think I've got a long way to go before my current face washes are used up...
