    One more UU and still sadly not the BB cream!! :-

    LE Superbalm - travel size - I like this product a lot. I've never actually set out to buy this as I've always received the little pots in with other kits. I think though next time I make an LE order (though not for a long time) I'll pop one of these onto it.

    I'm going to try the Burts Bees Hand Salve on my cuticles next. I opened their Foot Cream last night and my first impression is that it is very nice although I find the texture a bit weird. It comes out of the tube like a gel and then applies to the foot like a balm. Sadly because of this and because I didn't warm it in my hands first I probably used too much and it then became oily. Like the fragrance though.
    Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    I love the OS Vanilla Milk & Raspberry shower gel too, we are using it at the moment and it is just like a milkshake.

    Hope poorly people get well soon and that everyone got through the night without damage.

    I have a uu

    Mandara Spa Amber Heaven Body Cream - 150ml, I have used loads and loads of Mandara Spa products and this scent in particular. It smells really nice but takes ages to rub in so WNBA for that reason.

  • UU Ren Clarifying Toner 150ml WBA I couldn't say if my skin is any better off but certainly no worse for using this. It got used up pretty quickly as I liked the refreshing minty smell but it did seem a bit tame after having been using Clarins exfoliating toner previously. I have already placed an order for Aveda Botanical Kinetics Exfoliant to replace this.

    I have quite a few spluttery things on the go, so should end the month in deficit.

    It's already caused as much trouble as it will as she didn't even know we were getting married and wasn't meant to know till her invite turned up but obv the fact she's going to be away threw a spanner in!

    I then said he had to tell her tonight as he'd have put it off forever and then it would look like we'd deliberately planned it for when she was away(she's a strange creature to me) he text her and her reply was 'why you want to get married you're fine as you are marriage is harder to get out of WHEN things go wrong'

    Stuff her I'm glad she's away I just hate her ways for OH sake.... So now he's ignoring her for a bit till she stops chastising him about it, jeez you'd never believe he's a 37yr old man!

    What a horrible thing for her to say! Well it sounds like you'd be better of with her not there anyway!

    1 UU – Fenjal bath oil. WNBA, it was a gift and I love bath stuff, but not keen on the smell.

    1 TA – A night cream I got to test. Very strong fragrance, sometimes stung and made my face red. Not good!

    I've got a shampoo and conditioner on the way to test (how come I keep getting stuff to test now, when I'm trying to cut back?! but I'll declare those when they arrive.
    No more goo hoarding!

    I wonder whether the customer MrM visited was a fellow MSE lady who had decanted shower gel into the handwash pump then?

    Just researched it and it's selling for £1.15 as a hand wash ! :) I might try it whenever my current hand wash runs out (one I got from lidl, I forget the name but the packaging is really posh looking and product is alright too)

  • A very late declaration of being in for February from me. I do not know where this month is going to. Unfortunately I have no uu's to declare but I also have not bought anything so am generally happy although I would like it if my stash would go down faster.

  • If anyone is running out of handcream (unlikely, I know...) Crabtree & Evelyn are giving away a free tube when you take in an old one (any brand).
    Spotted this yesterday whilst in town and contemplated popping to Boots for a cheap one to trade for C&E but decided I have quite enough hand cream for the moment.

    I'm using the superbalm at the moment. Used it just on my cuticles previously and just kept rubbing until my fingers weren't too greasy and was amazed at how good my nails looked, not dry at all. This morning I applied some to my cuticles and then applied handcream. Hoped my hands wouldn't become greasy but in fact the result was lovely soft hands. Like you would contemplate buying this again.

  • A few UU's to report, mostly sample sizes but still adds up:

    Pantene colour conditioner 400ml. WBA but in a smaller size next time, already have many replacements to choose from for now though!

    Garnier body lotion sample sachets x 12. Had to use 4 sachets at a time to do my whole body! WNBA, did the job but nothing special.

    ESPA Pink Hair and Scalp Mud sample. WNBA, didn't really notice any miraculous changes to my scalp after using.

    Therapie Roques Oneil bath salts sample. WNBA, I prefer bubbles in my bath tbh.

    TBS Honey shower gel. WNBA, nice but nothing spectacular. Got it as a free gift with a £1 Glamour subscription along with some other BS honey bits and bobs so can't really complain.

    That's it for OUTs but sent off for these http://manukahoneydiscount.co.uk/manuka-doctor-mini-kit-offer1.html today so may have 3 INs to declare soon.
    I just can't resist free stuff!

    Hi everyone! I have a UU and a TA to report, both of which were on my PP list for February.

    Firstly the UU: Lavera Hand Cream 20ml - Got this free in a Birchbox and it wasn't too bad actually. The scent was a bit strange at first but I've kind of grown to like it. I think the 100ml size is just over £4 which isn't too bad for a hand cream so I might actually purchase it when I've used up all the others I have. Plus it's vegan and cruelty free so that's a plus.

    Then I had to TA my Palmers Bust Cream. Yes I did notice that the skin in the relevant area was a lot smoother but after a couple of days it started breaking me out too! Definitely not a good look when you're covered in red bumps from your neck downwards!

    I also have an IN to declare: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair 50ml. Managed to pick this up brand new and unopened on ebay for £50. Less than 2 months into my spending challenge and I'm already almost half way through my budget! Things could get very tight towards the end of the year!
    Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £
    LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000
