1 UU tonight, Lush Luxury Lush Pud Bath bomb
WMBA - Was a Christmas product, turned the bath a lovely dark purple but again couldn't make out any kind of scent to it...as also filled the bath with some of a Candy Mountain (I can't help it - have you seen hoe many of those things I have to UU??)
Did leave some purple spots behind on the bath though, came off easily enough with a wipe down though.0 -
Three UU:
Blossom body scrub - from a gift set
Blossom body lotion - from a gift set
Vitamin C microdermabrasion - still a few uses left, but getting difficult to get out the tube. Got this for £2 when I bought another product, would buy again for the £2 but wasn't blown away by it. Have found I'm not so keen on anything else from the Vit C range apart from their serum.0 -
Sorry to hear about your mother in law to be missing your big day - is it going to cause trouble?
UU
200ml TBS grapefruit shower gel - WBA its one of my favourites.
30ml DKNY be delicious perfume - WMBA its an OK daytime fragrance but I didnt love it. Have another in my stash which Ive just started as im part way through the body lotion.
3 handcreams donated to the communal sink at work.No more buying toiletries0 -

Goes against the grain to put it in the bin so thought if I left it there then someone could have it or they could put it in the bin for me. Then, when I started voluntary work I found out that one of the managers loved it. Could have earned Brownie points by giving it to her! However, I'm wondering whether mine had gone off.
Tempted by the sounds of the new one. Don't have a huge stash of perfume but couldn't justify buying any more. And if they have matching products then I'm doomed!
I like the Madame Glamour, everyone had commented on it's nice smell, so maybe yours had gone off?
I am tempted to try the other new perfume they've launched
BF picked up the l'occtaine handcream f/b freebie for me today, they didn't even ask to see the voucherI haven't actually received it yet but looking forward to trying it

I do this with most things, except when I buy numerous of the one item.
We took OH's mum to the supermarket, she told us she's booked her hols for 20th may  So that's her off the wedding invite list  we asked her only last week when she was going hols and she said march or April
 so sorry to hear that - your poor fianc! must be very upset. Did she know the date before she booked? And can/will she not consider cancelling her holiday? Your wedding day only happens once, after all!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
Two ins to report:
Guilty EDT from Superdrug. An apt name for the perfume as my perfume embargo only lasted 12 days. Was reduced to 1£2 for 50 ml. Pleasant smelling and fresh, does not smell cheap at all.
Superdrug solait for my holiday nice month.0 -

It's already caused as much trouble as it will as she didn't even know we were getting married and wasn't meant to know till her invite turned up but obv the fact she's going to be away threw a spanner in!
I then said he had to tell her tonight as he'd have put it off forever and then it would look like we'd deliberately planned it for when she was away(she's a strange creature to me) he text her and her reply was 'why you want to get married you're fine as you are marriage is harder to get out of WHEN things go wrong'
Stuff her I'm glad she's away I just hate her ways for OH sake.... So now he's ignoring her for a bit till she stops chastising him about it, jeez you'd never believe he's a 37yr old man!No more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -
SJPRMC... oh dear, poor you! You did say she was a 'my way or no way' sort of person, so perhaps it's Karma sorting it as nicely as possible. Congratulations! I think it's great!
My DD has been with her partner for years, engaged, I refer to him as my son in law, and I'm his ma-in-law, but they are not married.
I would be very happy if they did have a quiet do, somewhere.
So many posts, hope everyone is as dry as possible with an intact roof. Snow up here yesterday, which made walking a bit hazardous, now we have very high winds. So relieved that I spent every spare penny I could on making the house weatherproof.
I had two wooden yard doors shatter in high winds and replaced the last one with a wrought iron gate. DS was of the 'what do you want to spend that much for' school of thought but I've been proved right as it's held up beautifully.
Rightyo, another PP item bites the dust, this time the 50 ml Bayliss & Harding Sweet Mandarin and Grapefruit Hand/Body Lotion that was a Christmas stocking filler from DD.
WIB? Probably not, the scent was something, but it wasn't citrus. However it was by far the best B&H item I have used , rubbed in beautifully.
I do wonder if the other B&H items I've tried had gone off as the person who gave most of them to me had possibly regifted them, and the other was almost certainly an unwanted gift that I won as a raffle prize.
The stash of small bottles has gone down considerably now, still no need to buy anything.
I am of the 'use more conditioner than shampoo' school, as less is more with my hair when it comes to shampoo. If I have too rich a lather it takes forever to rinse out and doesn't feel clean. Conditioner seems to rinse out with fewer problems. I usually have a spare bottle of conditioner to spin out the matching conditioner for my shampoo.
Atm, it's a Schwarzkopf Gliss from the pound shop, and very good it is, too.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Thanks for the concern, I'm cool with it! It's her son I'm with not her or any of the rest of the family I'm happy the way things are!
UU no 8/ Lush, the comforter: HG for me, still have 4 in stash
May also finish my 500ml bottle of snow fairy that I've got on the go but not sure if it will last till tomorrow yet.
I echo the hope everyone is safe in this awful weatherNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -
Congratulaions sjprmc01 - lovely news.

At an attempt to justify some of this stuff...I had been looking at eye creams in whole foods I did try out some of the Laid Bare and Pukka products but given the prices, I resisted. Then I was in TK Maxx on Monday night and they had the Pukka stuff at £9.99 instead of £25 and the Laid Bare was half price too.
Anyway went back to work yesterday and have picked up a bug there. Been shivering and shaking in bed. Made it into work for a few hours but ended back in bedOn the plus side I might lose a few pounds
Glad you enjoyed your break. Nice haul you got there. Hope you feel better soon.rosemary54 wrote: »just wanted to say hope everyone is okay in this awful weather!DS2 lives in Maidstone and DS3 in Worcester both flooded but think they are okay, never known anything like it!
still no ins,did get sent the skirt from fleabay so faith restored a bit
Thankfully we are not in a flooded area. Cannot begin to imagine how life is for those poor folk affected. Only damage done to our property last night is a fence panel that has come away completely.nillionaire wrote: »You NEED to try the shower gel its so lovely smellingnot the best at foaming but that really doesn't bother me. Not tried the handwash as I've never seen it! Would definitely buy one if I saw one to try if the shower gel is anything to go by
I wonder whether the customer MrM visited was a fellow MSE lady who had decanted shower gel into the handwash pump then?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
