    Never say never
  • Congratulations sjprmc01, and well done on planning your special day the way you want it. Far too often the pressure can be piled on by people offering 'helpful' opinions. We married in August and really didn't have any input from anyone else (apart from DD and DSD, both aged 14, picking their bridesmaid dresses) and honestly, it was just perfect  As I'm sure yours will be too!

GA - sanctuary cube from sales containing a mini bath foam, body wash and body lotion. It's my friends birthday this weekend and myself and another friend have bought us all a spa day - we have hidden the voucher in the sanctuary box - can't wait to see her look of slight disappointment when she initially opens the present (seeing as both of us has clubbed together) and the look of surprise when she finds the voucher

Also another 3 items out the stash!!!!!
No buying unnecessary toiletries in 2014: currently counting hoard....numbers TBA

    Congratulations sjprmc0.

Hope you had a lovely birthday Sundaygirl.

I really don't know where time has gone, anyway a quick update.

So white bath ballistic WBA love the scent

    Cinders bath ballistic WBA

The melting snowman bath melt WBA it goes so well with cinders and so white, I really did not want to get out of the bath.

A bath bomb WNBA fizzed well

Honey and oat bath melt WMBA nice enough but too artificial in scent and it was from an American company and I am not willing to pay duty on items again

FP body whip in the lamplighter WBA one of my favourite scents

Argon oil WBA but I am trying to resist as I think I will try almond oil in my hair instead and see how that goes.

Snowcake soap WBA one of my favourites and even better to get it at half price

    Lavender massage bar WMBA

    Cotton wool pads WBA

Yves rocher pure calmille cleanser and toner WMBA liked it and it did the job and lasted well

    Elemis PMC WDBA

Loccitane cherry blossom hand cream WNBA liked it but nothing too special and I prefer other hand creams

Penguin bubble bar WNBA I have quite a few stashed but the scent remons me of cleaning products

Yves rocher liquid hand wash in something floral WNBA nice enough but I tend to use solid soaps

Body wash stuff in something or other WBA I like this type of product and use it to shave, wash and someone suggested I use it as shampoo but I am still to try that.

    5 items given away

Think that's it for now. I do have some INs sitting at the post office and I did accidental order from l'occitane, again GWP and sales are my weakness.

I managed to complete January's PP list, so here is February's PP list...

    [strike]1. Clinique moisture surge[/strike]
    [strike]2. Vaseline night body renewal[/strike]
    [strike]3. Boots spa firming cream[/strike]
    4. Ted Baker Body scrub
    5. Ted Baker shower gel
    6. Dove body lotion
    7. A'kin hand cream
    8. Avon curly hair serum
    [strike]9. Tova Signature Perfume[/strike]
    [strike]10. No 7 P & P serum[/strike]

    Hi All,
2 UUs today and both from PP list. :T

    1. Clinique moisture surge - quite liked this but would not go out of my way to purchase, but would happily use if it was a GWP.

    2. Vaseline nightly renewal body lotion - this was an ancient relic. To put this into context, it has a label on it saying "new" but I don't think they even make this now! :o. This was a LHJ - 516ml so although I did like it, I am glad it has gone now.

    Off to catch up.
    Hope all are well.

  • Congrats SJ!!

2 UU's today S&G Thick and Fast mascara and S&G Thick and Fast HD mascara
Was really holding on to these two, should probably have thrown them out a few months ago, but really love them both!

Don't really wear mascara everyday, but since Jan have been making a real effort to use everyday to try and use some of mine up. Have been switching between these two every day and honestly don't see much of a difference between the two except the price!

Really liked these two, but sadly I have other (unopened) ones in the stash to get through first! Next up is the 17 Doll'd Up one!

Ah lovely news - congratulations SJPRMC01

    Another UU this evening -

16: The Body Shop Moringa Foaming Bath 400ml - This was given to me as a gift, probably WNB but would happily use if was given again. Was nice enough and lasted well. I'm now onto a massive bottle of OS bubble bath. Really need to start UU some of my posher products though rather than saving them. I am trying to use the older stuff first but this also seems to be the cheaper stuff. Don't want the posh stuff to go off whilst I'm using the cheaper stuff!

Was going to go through all my make up tonight and throw some bits out but am lacking in motivation.
  • 10 ebay outs - more auctions have sold but will report these once buyers actually pay.
    No more buying toiletries

How about taking the pump out and leaving it up-ended over a small tub? I'd have thought letting gravity pull most of it out and then giving it a good shake would work.

Thanks Sarah, that's a really good idea. I don't have any little pots that are big enough at the moment (there is a surprisingly large amount still in there!) but will go to Muji/Tiger at the weekend and see if they have anything that might do the trick.
