Two OUTs this morning and four INs to declare from earlier in the week (all necessary though!)
OUTs
Herbal Essences Bee Strong shampoo and conditioner samples - not sure if I WBA as I liked the smell of the shampoo but wasn't so keen on the conditioner, and it didn't seem to have made my hair much stronger (though it does feel quite soft today).
INs
Essie All In One Base Coat 15ml
Simple Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion 200ml
Naked Care Neroli & Oatmeal Mild Shampoo 250ml
Naked Care Neroli & Cotton Seed Gentle Conditioner 250ml
I did say at the start of the month I'd need base coat and shampoo/conditioner so they're allowed, and the cleanser was because I needed some to tide me over until I can get my Soap & Glory one out of the tube again! But I probably would have needed to replace that next month anyway...
I think this weekend I am going to attempt to get my various samples used up - it feels a bit like cheating somehow but an OUT is an OUT, right?"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
UU no 9/ lush snow fairy 500ml bottle it's a HG for me so will def buy again but I have another 500ml and 30 x 100ml in the stash (do I have the most embarrassingly huge stash ever?)
Going to UU something else before taking another snow fairy into the bathroom.
One IN to report courtesy of my friend who I had a rescheduled (was supposed to be pre Xmas) pizza express date with last night: philosophy granny's apple pie! YUM! she knew I'd been trying to get hold of this as I LOVE the smellNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -

I agree, an OUT is an OUT:D I don't include sachets, in my totals, but am fed up having them lurking around, 3 UU so far and will hopefully have used them all or binned them by the end of the month:jThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Morning guys
Another tester UU this morningRimmel stay matte liquid mousse light weight shine control in 100 IVORY. The coverage is really great, possibly a bit heavy for my personal skin on a day to day basis as I'm blessed with good skin, however I have the feeling this would be great for a night out or big event. Felt quite dense rather than lightweight but I suspect that's due to the tester being in my drawer for a long time and squished the air out of the mousse. Might buy some of this if on offer one day but I'm a bit of a hardcore L'oreal true match fan as it's a HG for me so maybe not.

Two UU's today.
TBS Rose Hand Cream – WBA Felt really nice to use and I liked the fact it has an SPF in it.
Institut Esthederm Time Technology Cream – IWICBA (I Wish I Could Buy Again!) I got a little pot of this in a beauty box ages ago, and I did my usual thing of "oh, a little pot, I'll use it when I go away for weekends and stuff" but I really wished I'd given it a good, solid use to see the difference it made to my skin. I finished my other night cream so thought I might as well finish up this pot, and I remembered how lovely it was. I googled it and its over £60 a pot! No wonder I love it. I wish I could re-purchase, but it's just not on the cards. No more goo hoarding!

Three whole UUs to report:-
Balance Me Super Moisturising Hand Cream 50ml - hated this and so glad to see the back of it. Awful smell, awful consistency. I now have a Cow Shed one to use up which I possibly hate even more. Really weird smell.
Boots Royal Moisturising Cream Bath 100ml - this was part of a present the Xmas before last. Hate the smell and taste of honey (not that I was planning to eat it!) This has gone in the handwash bottle and I'm still hating it. However, there wasn't that much of it and I don't want to mix it with anything else in case the smell is still overwhelming and I'm stuck with it for even longer. When I put lavender products in my handwash bottle I ended up pouring it away in the end as the smell made me feel sick.
Also added to the handwash bottle The Rectory Body Wash 75ml. This was also part of a present and didn't smell of anything much at all.
First in of the year - Johnson's Baby Extra Sensitive Wipes x 56. Only really use wipes when I'm being lazy or am in a hurry. I get the really cheap ones from Tesco normally at 50p for 25. The Johnson's ones were on offer at 88p so worked out even cheaper.
I ordered the Manuka Honey and Salcura freebies so the stash will actually be going up rather than down but I don't have a stash of facial products as such and it will be nice to try something new. I want to start using these soon after they arrive. I don't want to find something is my HG years after it's been discontinued. I also don't want to change everything in my skincare routine at once. If my skin miraculously improves and I've used 3 or 4 new products all at once then I won't know which one worked for me.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
I just had one of those major What... they are free?! moments... But may have ordered some too
I live in Worcester but touch wood haven't been affected by the flooding. It's terrible my heart goes out to them. My little sisters friend is currently living with the river passing through her house, and they are STILL living there!! Their shower is downstairs and has to take her wellies to the shower with her... must be horrible!
x
I have just ordered the freebie...can,t resist
DS3 lives in Worcester and keeps me up to date with photos, feel for all those affected0 -
I was just wondering if anyone had spotted Kleenex face wipes anywhere? I'm not sure if they have stopped making them or not. It's really annoying because I really liked them but then they were expensive if not on offer so I can see why most wouldn't buy them
XI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

One UU to declare from my PP list:
Soap and glory - the righteous butter. I liked this - rubbed in well and liked the smell. Although there are probably better body butters out there. WMBA on boots offer at Christmas and would happily use if gifted.
It's my birthday so I have INs - lovely INs too:-
S&G set with Scrub of Your Life and Righteous Butter. I haven't used S&G for ages so am really looking forward to using these again.
Baylis & Harding Sweet Mandarin and Grapefruit set containing shower gel, body lotion and 100g bar of soap. Looking forward to trying this.
Dove gift set containing body lotion, hand cream and body brush - again looking forward to trying these. I've only ever used shower gels which made my skin dry but am hopeful that these products will be nice.
Set of 5 French Connection nail colours - all lovely colours.
£20.00 gift card for Boots which I'm going to save to get a pot of Origins Plantscription eye cream with.
All above from work mates.
Decleor Herbal Clay mask from MrM
Smashbox Full Explosure eyeshadow palette from Emma. Very excited about this however I need to go to Boots to return it tomorrow as it was meant to have a free mascara with it which was not included. Have spoken with them and they are fine for me to return this and exchange it.
Yankee Candle - sweet linen - from my sister. Again, lovely item.
Feel very very lucky and happy with all my gifts.
Have however been sent a card by QVC about the Elemis TSV coming up this Sunday and I really feel like I want it. Maybe see what the price is and if it's on Easy Pay!!mcculloch29 wrote: »I'm sure I've seen this as a handwash in Wilko's last summer. It is a seasonal one, I think. OS handwashes do seem to appear and disappear regularly.
Atm, I'm using an A!di Carrageen Moss handwash that is absolutely lovely. Going down rapidly!
Many thanks. Will keep an eye out for these in the Wilko's close to work.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
