  • Ooh and I opened my Dior Hypnotic Poison which I got for my birthday last month. Thought it may as well be out and getting used/enjoyed rather than being kept unopened in a drawer :D

2 UU! Trevor Sorbie shampoo and conditioner
Shampoo - beautiful brunette - warm rich
conditioner - beautiful brunette - cool coffee

    WIBA?
As long as I'm using henna.. no
If I was to stop using henna - maybe...
The shampoo in this range contains wash in wash out hair dye... I loved it when my hair was just "brown", it made the colour a little darker a little richer, I liked. However because it has this it is rather drying and the conditioner is only good enough to bring it back to kinda ok.
I loved it for the colour aspect not for it's performance, if your happy with your hair colour stay clear...

What this does mean though is my next trip to town includes a trip to lush for some more henna! my roots are starting to show and I am in love with the colour I get from henna, biggest challenge is to only buy henna... :/

Hi ladies. Another UU from my PP List:-

L'Occitane Verbena Body Scrub. Can't remember how much this cost me when I bought it. Have looked on their website and the packaging has changed. It would now cost £27.00 to replace. I don't think I would pay that again however it's a nice product and seems to have lasted me a few months. I have a bar of Lush Porridge Soap in my stash to replace this with and prefer the results I get from using Porridge than the L'occitane scrub.

L'Occitane 5 Essential Oils shampoo - Didn't like the smell but it seemed ok on my hair.

I used the same shampoo this morning in a sachet that I've had for months, and I agree, the smell is not very pleasant. It reminded me a bit of the tea tree shampoo that my Mum uses.

Another UU today, although only another small one. L'Occitane Milk Body Concentrate sachet, which I've also had lying around for months. It was nice but I probably WNB it because I think it would be quite expensive for a body lotion.

I wonder if any of you lovely ladies could offer me some advice about nail varnish? My top coat is quite old now and is starting to go all stringy and leaves bubbles all over my nails when I've applied it. I also found that lots of nail varnishes start to go the same when they're old. A while ago a friend told me that if you put a very small amount of nail varnish remover into the nail varnish, it will solve the problem. Has anyone else tried this?

    Thanks :)
Thank you to everyone who posts on here :)

I was told to put a few drops of acetone into the varnish, and not to use remover. Never tried this so can't say how well it works though.

1 UU today - Pantene 2 Minute Colour Damage Rescue Treatment Masque. WBA, has lasted since end of November being used approx weekly and makes my hair shiny. Trying to hold out til March though as I have a colour intense conditioner on the go and know there's a John Frieda mask in my stash at home!

I've heard the same, and I have tried but but I've never found the varnishes to be quite the same (application was still a headache) and usually just end up replacing anyway....

Prevention is better than cure .... if you are able to store them upside down this keeps a better seal. And someone on here suggested wiping around the neck after use to stop air getting in too. I now wipe down any that I can't store upside down, does it work... can't say yet... but it's worth a try :D

I have a bottle of OPI Nail Thinner which is really good. Would be an expensive investment at first but the bottle has lasted me a good 2 years and still has loads left in it. Is very effective. I have prolonged the lifetime of loads of lacquers/top coats with it.
