My first UU of the month to report! :j :j
OUT:
Kempinski Snow Gardenia Conditioner 50ml - yet another product snaffled from our Turkish jaunt in October. Not setting the world on fire as far as conditioner is concerned, but hey, it's ok and I won't be getting rid of the other 3 small bottles I have.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Shoes, how could I have forgotten that collection!?!?! Let's just say I have a few pairs of those too...........
The Rimmel Pro Matte Finish Topcoat is good, but I'm not sure if it's been discontinued now.
Thanks, I think it might be discon..., I thought that they did one, but none in my tiddly B**ts and couldn't find it online anywhere, will look again now you have given me the proper name:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Another stationary hoarder here too! I used to love back to school/college/uni shopping. I really miss having an excuse to buy folders and notebooks now...though it doesn't really stop me!:rotfl:
A huge Paperchase store opened here last year, I love it! Can't walk past it without going in for a look!0 -
Hello everyone and welsome to newbiesAt the hugely bargainous price of £1.50 it would have been rude not to buy it!
Well quite! That's what I thought :PSarahB1989 wrote: »Bought Botanics Bright Eye roll-on/gel the other day and seem to be reacting to it - wondered if anyone had the same problem? First time I applied it I got red panda eyes within half an hour, didn't happen the next time but a few days later the under-eye area is feeling a bit delicate, one side is properly tender!
Thanks for the warning! I recently bought this on the 2 for £6 offer Will have to monitor this carefully
I'm just popping in to report a couple of UUs
Givenchy Very Irresistible Body Veil 75ml WDNBA not normally a fan of the lotions and potions that come with perfumes as I find them a bit sickly, most of the scent had gone from this one though by the time I got round to using it! Instead I had to deal with the glitter it coats you with :rotfl:I reserved this for the bits you can't see lol. I hated this one that much I've not even cut the tube open ugh!
Palmers Cocoa Butter moisturising lotion 50ml WBA I love Palmers and possibly a HG, however a glut of body moisturisers to get through first. I've opened one of my Sanctuary Body lotions to be getting on with0 -
Oh dear - February has not had a good start.
I needed to buy some more soap so I popped into the 99p store - fatal mistake - I now have 6 bars of Dove soap and 6 more bottles of shampoo. I'm not feeling too bad about these as they were super cheap and I will use them as they are staples in my shower. 1 of the shampoos I am intending to GA to my sister as she said she'd like to try it.
On my way home from work I went into L'Occitane and picked up the free handcreams so that's another 3 more items to add to the stash, but they are such fab products that I couldn't pass up the freebie, plus they are a handy size for your handbag. While I was there I also got given 7 sachets of the Precious Cream, which I will count as 1 IN not 7, as usually with sachet samples I decant them into a little tub to use.
For anyone in the London area wanting to pick up the handcreams, they are still available in the Covent Garden store.
I do have a few UU but not enough to counteract the INs:
Nivea Happy Time Shower Cream 250ml - WDBA but don't need to, have already replaced with one from the stash.
Alberto Balsam Sun Kissed Raspberry Conditioner 400ml - WDBA, nice smell and conditions just as well as more expensive brands.
Dove Soap 100g - WDBA and have!
Gamila Secret Original Cleansing Bar 30g - WNBA as I found this a little drying on my skin.
Elemis Lip Revive 3ml - this was a little tube of lip balm that I got in a complimentary toiletry kit on the plane - several years ago - can't even remember when! I have a bit of a lip balm obsession so I'm really trying to use them up before buying more. This one was lovely, and I am really tempted to buy the full size one but I am not going to!!
Here's hoping the rest of February will be better...0 -
Thank you for starting us off for this month, KT. In again. Thanks for the new thread KT2802 and a warm welcome to gothrockchic1 and nillionaire. I'm in again for February and will soon be posting a new Project Pan list.
This is slightly freaky. I found an old make up bag full of sachets this week and amongst those sachets was........an Oil of Ulay shower cream sample! :rotfl:
I've been using the stuff since it was Oil of Ulay, and Googled as to when the name change happened. It was 1999. Your sachets are at least 15 years old!
Gosh, I thought the thread was flying, all those pages already, but most of it turned out to be stash lists.
I didn't buy a single thing last month. NOT A THING. :j
I did have the NBI's of hair dye to trial and shower gel that I won - UU'd and being UU'd.
Latest UU's were a tiny 15ml pot of BS Hemp Foot Protector that a friend gave me.
WIB? Possibly, though I think Nivea is better.
Another was a 50ml bottle of Avon Skin So Soft Skin Perfecting Oil. I think this may be the base oil for the dry oil sprays.
WIBA? Yes, this is so quick to apply and gives great results, rubs in so well, doesn't mark clothes but has long lasting effects. However, I suspect that other oils will have similar effects. I have a Bio Oil looky - likey from somewhere and whilst the weather is cold, pure oil is a quick and easy moisturiser to apply. So that's next on the list to UU.
I will have to buy facial wipes at some stage this month. I remembered last Thursday but the fact that A!di didn't have any of the pink packet variety left saved my month of no buying.
I am also down to the 30 ml mini tin of Nivea for my feet that came free with the big 200 ml jar.
Shampoo, conditioner, foot - soak, body lotion and shower gel - I probably have enough for most of the year. Facial stuff - enough for this month.
If I get the wipes from A!di and the Nivea from Savers I will have spent less than £4 this year. Alternatively I could probably get the Nivea with points from Boots and spend even less....Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
If you're running out and have no replacements stashed, I wouldn't consider these "unnecessary" so breathe easy
your challenge is to get in and out of Boots without being tempted by any other bargains!
Good luck
That's the problem! Was hoping to avoid shopping all together this month so I'm not tempted by anything! Suppose I could get deodorant at asda though and only take enough for the food shop I need so I can't be tempted there! :AFrugal Student!!!0 -
Another stationery/pretty boxes/nice colour pens hoarder here too
Having a good February so far. Three UUs last night:
L'Occitane 5 Essential Oils shampoo - Didn't like the smell but it seemed ok on my hair.
Boots Cocoa butter sugar scrub - Did NOT like this at all. Not scrubby enough, made my skin feel greasy and if any little bits got splattered around the bath and were allowed to dry, they went rock hard and were a real pain to clean off. Plus I cut my finger open on the edge of the pot the first time I opened it.
True Religion Shimmering Body lotion - This was a gift so no idea where it came from but it was lovely. Smelt nice (and the smell lasted for ages) and gave a little shimmery sheen but didn't cover my clothes.
I appear to have had a reaction to something I've been using - I now have a little sore dry patch on one of my eyelids. Presuming it's an eyeshadow - really hoping it's not one of my lovely MAC ones.
On a real roll this year with 18 products out of the stash already. My total stash number is currently 211 - pushing extra hard to bring it below the magic 200 mark for the first time ever.
"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
Another stationery/candle fan here - oh, and don't get me started on shoes...
UU from gym last night:
23. Boots Gorgeous Feet foot spray 50ml - WNBA, hated the smell and expect it has long since been discon anyway!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
Morning all! (What's left of it anyway...)
Had a bath this am, UU a Lush bath bomb, WBA but not going to be making a special trip to do so, will UU my countless bubble baths first. Started on a mini Nivea Irresistably Smooth body lotion and found it a bit dull. Smells lotioney and I prefer body butters with nice sweet fruity fragrances so am bored of this already, I almost fell asleep applying it and will be glad when it's gone. Needless to say WDNBA
Almost finished a Pantene shampoo that I've had forever, I must say I was very tempted to just bin it and have done with it but convinced myself to keep going with it.
3 of my online auctions have bids on already so that will be 12 OUTS next week, yay!Never say never0
